Victoria EThe old man that operates this place is the worst. I usually go to another location but since I needed to move stuff from my storage and this place was closer so I went. I told him I wanted to opt out of the insurance and he said the new law was I had to take it. Or I had to show proof of documentation that I can pay the 50k van if I declined the insurance. Which I know was fear mongering or bs. So I took the van returned it at 745ish yesterday. Then today when I got the receipt he charged me a cleaning fee of $25. Yesterday when he handed me the key I told him to check the van and he took out a banana and metal item from the previous renters. The van was filthy and dirty inside and outside. I returned it after moving my stuff and didnt not even eat or anything in it. He told me food was left in it and he was so mad I complained about the cleaning fee he hung up on me. Clearly this man is money hungry and is overcharging clients. I have been a client of uhaul for a long time and know this is not how they are and the policies. Im very disappointed in the service and regret renting a van from here.
