Check tires. There was a metal key chunk in one auto transport tire. Luckily was not all the way through. Would’ve been nice if uhaul got the auto transport from Lockport to orchard park so I didn’t have to drive an hour and a half out of the way. Uhaul had more than enough notice to accommodate.

Diana SAbsolutely THE worst experience I've ever had with renting anything. I got a confirmation email that my 6x12 Uhaul trailer was confirmed and guaranteed to be there for pick up at 2 pm. I got to the location and there was no trailer. At NO time did I get ANY notification that my rental would not be there. I already drove 15 miles to get there. They offered another trailer (smaller than what I needed) that was available in Depew, another 20 miles away. I declined and insisted they then find me a truck, (there was one on the lot) and I was told there was one in Grand Island, another 20 miles away. I again insisted on taking the one they had there and was ultimately given that one. Now I have a 15 ft box truck to move one dresser, 1 chest, one headboard and footboard and a night stand. a ridiculously large vehicle to use for this. Uhaul left me absolutely no option. in a day where fuel costs are astronomical, I would think Uhaul would be a bit more green minded. Nope, I had to pay at least $125 more for a truck I didn't need AND pay mileage on what should have been a trailer. Uhaul has a LOT to learn about efficiency and customer service. I will NEVER rent another piece of Uhaul equipment and niether will anybody I know. nothing but Penske for me from now on.
