I couldn’t get the truck I reserved. I chose to pick up the keys from the counter and when I got there no one in the office to help me. I called the number on the door to try to get some assistance but I didn’t get an answer. I did get a text from the BigCityTax number but it was automated and I wasn’t able to get the help I needed. Since no one was there to assist me with getting the keys to the truck I reserved, I was on the phone with U-Haul for over an hour after my reservation time trying to get assistance. (There was also another person in the parking lot trying to get assistance too). U-Haul was not able to get in contact with anyone from BigCityTax either. I ultimately ended up having to get switched to a smaller truck that had a lock on it. Stephanie from U-Haul assisted with getting me the code to the lock so I could get the key. She was very help with transferring everything. Even though the truck was not the size I needed it was clean and in good condition. I won’t be renting another U-Haul from BigCityTax though. I just think it’s a little unprofessional to not have someone in the office to assist with the rental since that’s an option you can choose to pick up your keys.
