martin sThere is only 1 location in the pick up town. The pick up process took 3 attempts due to lighting issues with my vehicle. The owner/Operator at the pick up location followed procedure and protocols to ensure safe usage of the units.
Jeremy JFirst I rented a truck at goose bay, but the same day they called me saying they don't have it. So uhaul told me to drive to wabush (6h) to get another truck on the Tuesday. It took us 13h to drive to wabush because of the snow. We arrive tuesday and there is no truck. The person is not even working on Remberance day, which Uhaul told me he was working that day. The man wasnt even working that day so we couldnt have the truck. He told us it would be ready the next day. We had to rent a motel room to stay there. The next day, the man had prepared the truck and it was ready. Also the trucks are not stored at 19 Whiteway Dr. There is absolutely nothing at that place. We had to drive around to find the real place. Also the phone number for this location is not good you have to call another place. I just really want to make a point that, the guy there was really helpful but Uhaul itself, the ones managing the whole region are very very disorganized and wont help you and tell you wrong things. If you have any other option, take it.
Stephanie BNo number to call at the location. No avenue to communicate. It seems because it’s the end of the world they’re not used to doing business. Totally dishonest. They were so eager to put a charge on my credit card for no just cause.
