I booked at a specific location and submitted my card info just for uhaul to change the location without my consent to somewhere further than my destination adding an additional 16 miles to my trip. Which would've cost me extra since it wasn't accounted for in the estimated milage I submitted. When I reached out, a team member insisted this was the only location available to me without even asking where my destination was. I took it into my own hands to find a location more convenient for me and asked them to cancel my original booking. Long story short I was charged for an extra 21 hours of rental despite having on record that the truck was picked up and dropped of within a 22 hour period. I was charged an additional fee claiming I did not replace the gas I used regardless of spending $25 at the gas station to fill the tank till it was full. AND I was charged a cancellation fee for the original uhaul location that I never consented to picking up a truck from. In total, I was charge $144 plus the gas and have yet to hear back from the store manager. Not satisfied at all, and probably will never book with uhaul again. Overall just very unprofessional, inconvenient, and a rip off.
