The rental process was mostly painless. There was an issue with a car with a dead battery blocking the van but that was quickly resolved and was no fault of theirs since they are in a parking garage. The van was new and drove well, with modern amenities like an all digital dashboard and push-to-start ignition system. Return was as easy as parking the van and handing the keys back to the staff. Overall, a very pleasant and more importantly, cheap experience. I will be using U-Haul services again in the future.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisYou must be prepared to use the mobile app to reserve, checkout, and return the vehicle. There is no assistance from the staff as they are not U-Haul employees. They are strictly parking attendants. They will bring the van to you only when you show them the completed reserve ticket. Customer service was great. The only hiccup was upon return, the attendant tried to give me the run around about no returns after 8 pm. That isn’t posted anywhere. In fact the sign says 24/7. But he didn’t get pissy about it. He just informed me that the space might be occupied later at night so they prefer U-Hauls be returned by 8 pm. I got there 9:30pm. But they accepted the vehicle no problem. No issues with app usage. All around a great experience.
Tarell Habsolutely horrendous customer service when we arrived at the location early the person in charge of handing over the truck was very dismissive and was not willing to help at all. we showed him the contract, and he refused to hand over the keys. kept insisting that we needed to show him some green letters and unless he saw that he would not give the keys to us. we ended up calling customer service and took us about 3 hours there. he was super nasty and was nasty to the rep that was trying to help us. the location needs better training for the pick-ups. when he finally gave us the keys, he was supposed to give us a dolly and a hand truck and when we asked he said that was not his problem to take it up with uhaul. i will never pick up from that location if i need to rent again. made the experience nightmare. from the fact that it took us 3 hours, the guy there being so incompetent and the long wait on calls. not to mention the signal for phone service made it worse to communicate with uhaul . ,,, awful in so many ways.

Cesar VThe whole system needs to be redone. I couldn’t return the van due to poor wi-Fi service, plus the attendant was useless. I was stuck outside the garage for 3 hrs and couldn’t return the truck. My wife and I were in a very bad area with no help late at night and couldn’t the van. No help in sight and again the garage attendant was terrible and useless.
