The most frustrating part of dealing with uhaul is trying to get in touch with a real person on the phone. I always spend a minimum of 20 minutes on hold. If this aspect of your business could be improved, it would help drastically.Eric B.

Do not rely on roadside assistance help. That was abysmal, Frightening and absolutely no help! U-haul should be ashamed of the level of incompetence and chaos they caused. Especially when in trouble. I rented a trailer for 4 days and was charged for 8 days! Impossible to even call the rental location directly. I called the corporate phone and waited an hour just to be told that the general manager would have to contact me within 3 days! Unacceptable.. the trailer was left after hours right in front of the entrance to the store. Uhaul is making doing business with them very difficult.IAN G.

Your automated system leaves a lot to be desired. I was going to be late to pick up equipment. Tried calling and was on hold for over 10 mins. Hung up and tried chat. Chat took around 5 mins to connect with an agent. At that point discovered my reservation had been cancelled. I went directly to the location in McKinney. Sunday evening when I was renting the vehicle the young lady in charge was acting like I was putting her out of her way. Upon coming back in to retrieve money owed to to me for the rental. The haul site stated that my refund woul be for a greater amount than what the same young lady told me. I corrected her and she acted like I was wrong by stating that's not what it says here. I informed her that it has been processed via the app by photos that were submitted and the fuel gauge being over what I was supposed to bring it back at. She raised her brow and then said okay. There was a huge problem picking up the truck as I was given a different truck. It took 45 minutes to an hour to check out. They sent me the wrong text survey to walk around the truck twice. Then I finally got the right one and I got a text asking me to confirm that I was waiving the safe move which I paid for. I had to go back in and discuss that. Then I wasn't able to confirm with anyone for the walk around or view the pictures that I took. This was especially concerning since there were long scratches all over the exterior especially on the passenger side. To top it all off I was charged 1800$ extra to my credit card by UHAUL when returning the truck. No one will tell me what I was charged for. No one knows. They just keep telling me that it may take 3 business days to confirm with the drop-off location. I just don't understand how you can charge 1800$ and not have that itemized or give a reason. I have had good experience with UHAUL in previous moves, but this was absurd.MARK H.
