The service was ok. The only thing was that asked for them to take my cell # Incase they get a truck back, because at that moment they didn’t and the front desk person didn’t want to. He said “they will not get one back”. I called back an hour later and they did have one. I asked the same guy about the truck and he said that “they weren’t expecting the truck”. That was exactly why I wanted to leave my number.

The truck I rented was unacceptable. The steering was not working. The rep didn't tell us that. We had no choice but to continue to use it. When we turned it in, he didn't care at all. Horrible vehicle and Customer service.

Leominster was great, but the original reservation at CLINTON failed. The trailer I reserved and was assured was not there at CLINTON. I was on a tight time schedule and had to drive to Leominster to get the trailer I needed. This impacted my families whole first day of vacation.

I was told by the rental agent over the phone when I requested the reservation I would recieve a truck with a full tank of gas. I explained this to the store agent who told me that no agent would tell me that I would recieve a full fuel tank. So, right away I am accused of being a liar. I received a truck with 5/8 tank fll of gas and the a serious warning from the uhaul store agent that I would be charged $4.50/gal to fill tank to the 5/8 if It was determined the tank to be off even a little bit.. Can you accurately get to 5/8 -no you can't-instead as a conscientious customer you overfill to avoid the extra charge and you end up returning a truck with more fuel than when you picked up the truck. I returned the truck full. Its a con, a scam obviously to get free gas for uhaul. Plus, the mileage rate was very high at 1.39/mile. I received a truck with dents, scratches and not full of fuel. Plus I paid at least $20 more for gas than I should have with no refund offered and called a liar by UHAUL. Do you know why they could not offer a refund-because-it would be diffficult to accuratley determine the difference between full and 5/8 tank full of gas. Yea-I know. The truck rental rate was great but the little charges are intended to scam the consumer -shame on Uhaul-you have the opportunity to be the best, instead you choose to nickel and dime an honest customer without apology.

Its hard to get someone on the phone and if you do get someone on the phone, your waiting for 10 to 15 mins. When you come in to the location, there is no one in the front and you have to call out multiple times before someone responds. In the morning there was aline out the door and a aecond cashier was not opened

We reserved a van at another facility and upon arrival, asked to upgrade to a larger truck. The original Leominster location didnt have a truck available so they sent us to Clinton. When we got to Clinton, they said they had no trucks and the orginal van that we reserved had been cancelled by the first Uhaul location. Therefore, we had NO Uhaul. None of the local uhauls locations had anything to offer us. Theee hours after our pick up time, Central St. had someone not show up for a larger truck and allowed us to take it. What a nightmare!!! Local stores were unable to communicate because no one answers the phone, so instead they had us traveling all around for nothing.

I had a rental reservation for a 26' foot truck on a recent Saturday. When I arrived Joshua Hoy (service rep) informed me that the truck I was going to be picking up was not returned by another customer* (*within that Saturday the 26' truck in question was never returned apparently). I told him that I had seen a 26' foot truck on the property behind the gas station near the corner of Central and Graham streets. Mr. Hoy said that the truck that I had seen was a 26' foot truck for another rental that was to be picked up at the same time. That rental was for a Uhaul employee who happened to arrive after me and was waiting in the store while Mr. Hoy was attempting to find another 26' foot truck in the general vicinity. I contacted Joshua Alexander the store manager who essentially stated that there was no remedy for the situation of my rental other than to call the customer who failed to return the other 26' truck. The Uhaul employee behind me in line then logged into the company computer and took the 26' foot truck in the lot and left. I left without a reservation and preference was given to a Uhaul employee. How nice!

I have rented from the Leominster location multiple times and each time has been smooth and flawless. Josh and Nicholas were very helpful and friendly on my recent rental and return and even helped me set up my next rental at a different location. I would highly recommend this uhaul location.

So I dropped off the truck and left the tank how I had received it, (it was not half full when I received it.). And the paperwork was written by the person from the pick up store that the tank was not half full so that the person at the drop off store would know. Well, they still charged me as if the tank was half full. I called and complained asking for my money back, and they said that they DID see the paperwork and that I was right and that they would refund me. 5 days later my money was not refunded. I personally went to the u-haul where I dropped it off to ask where was my money. They said they never refunded in the first place, but then they finally refunded it at that time. It’s unfortunate because even though mistakes happen, I should have not asked two times to get my money back. No one was rude to me however.

First of all this comment isn't about this location. I ordered a 26' truck from Leominster. But for some reason they didn't have a truck that big so I was told I had to go an hour and 15 minutes out of my way to get a truck. So on the day I was set to get the truck I was called by a gentleman named Bruce. Who informed me that the truck I ordered was not coming back on time and I had to call the transit department. I called them and was told my order was all set and that I indeed had a 26' truck waiting for me in Greenfield. I told her the guys name and that what he had communicated to me and I don't want to drive all that way for a truck that wasn't available. She sent me back to Bruce who kept repeating himself. Telling me the family was OK with the fees of keeping the truck. He then sent me to Scott the field manager. Oh my lord. This guy has no customer service skills. He was an ass from the beginning. When this guy finally got me a 15' truck he said to me ..."nothing again you but I never want to talk to you again." Wow!! So I run a pharmacy and I would have fired an employee for dealing with a customer like that. It's not what I am looking for but maybe he should get a talking to about the right and wrong way to deal with people. This situation wasn't my fault. It was the fault of U Haul. And could have been handled by all 4 people I dealt with from three different departments I dealt with.
