My original reservation was set for Wednesday 7am. I was given the run around and told misleading information for nearly a week. I was promised a 50.00 credit to my account and have yet received it. This has been the worst uhaul experience ever! Truly inconvenient.

Still, I am shocked that how on the world, the U-Haul company in this scale does not run the 'monkey-test' on the return truck Apps. It is so easy; once your App designed finished its job, you must pass it to a stranger with an average info, and ask him/her to test it. Then, you can figure out how user-friendly is your apps is. In your case, you are expecting that after hours moving and working, the customer comes to the stations and figure out: 1. The customer don't need to create an account 2. The customer must know to continue with no-account option 3. When the software asked for the phone number/account; they must enter the account .. this is the section that pissed me off. How on the world, if the software prompts enter phone number/account number, I must enter the second one .... How on the world, when you are tired and keep entering your phone number, and then there is no "Return your Truck" option 4. Then, for torture, we must watch a video about the procedure. Frankly, you screw it up in the national scale. 5. Hey, idiots, it is so easy. Add an option "Return the Truck", then ask enter your Code, and then done 6. Still, I cannot imagine your App designer screw it up so bad. And the U-Haul staffs are so dumb. 7. The funny part is that you know the process is hard, because there were dozen questions about how easy is the return process is. Well, dumb guys, it is not. Because your app designer made it wrong from the first place. Unless, you already know that (read Step 1-4). This process in the app-design is called 'monkey-test', and you FAILED.

The online reservation process and return process was fine. However the pick up process is overly cumbersome and it is not made clear when booking what will be needed at pick up. I had to provide two alternative contacts who could be called with no notice to get approval. This is after taking my picture, providing my driving licence and my credit card. Also the truck I had booked was not available out front but was in back. So I anyway had to go and wait in the office for the manager to fix the pick up issues.
