  • Worst packing of a truck I've ever seen. 'I don't pack it like other guys' apparently means they will disregard the sanctity of everything you own. Nearly every antique I have inherited from my grandparents is damaged, broken, or almost destroyed. The were dismissive when I was trying to tour what needed to be moved, whenever I mentioned a piece was fragile, or contained antique china ('it's all china, eye roll'); they referred to everything as a piece of wood, dropped an antique dining chair then dismissed it as 'outdoor patio furniture' when I pressed because they did not volunteer that information even after I watched them drop it. Packing became chaotic at the end because of the lack of attention to the sum total of my household. I had to spend 8 hours crawling up the truck to correct the hazards I could see and fill holes. If we had been aware at the time that uhaul has slightly hidden tiers of movers which come with extra protections, we would have chosen otherwise.

    Sorry to hear that. We packed the truck as well as we could with what we were given to pack the truck. If the customer was actually there to oversee the load it probably would have been smoother. I have been doing this for years and this is my first bad review. And I am very sorry for your inconvenience.
