• I was ripped off, I was not sure how the whole process worked, I offered cash instead of paying with my debit card, but he said it didn't matter about the code, he needed to close out the job. I gave him 420.00 cause he was coming back in the morning to finish the move, but he was not able to because of the stairsl. I had to pay extra for the truck, daycare for my pet, 3 more night with my old apartment, a day of missing work, i tried to resolve this with him to no response. I do have the messages that he took the cash and the payment. 725.00 for 2 hours 500.00 or so in extra charges. Do not hire

  We respectfully dispute this complaint. Before the job began, the customer told us she did not think her card payment would go through and said she would pay us in cash. I explained I still needed the Moving Help payment code to close out the completed order, which she voluntarily provided. The original booking was for 2 hours with 2 movers, but my two sons and I completed additional work by loading, driving the U-Haul to another apartment in the same complex, unloading, and working beyond the scheduled time. The customer voluntarily paid us $400 in cash for the extra labor and helper. Our Moving Help payout was only $255 after fees, not $725 as claimed. We completed the move in good faith and respectfully request that this complaint be dismissed.

• Rep says he was over booked. To hire a new service provider. I attempted to do so but U-Haul never called me back.
