  • I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Uhaul Moving Help and Cannaday Movers during my recent move. As a returning customer, I found the experience deeply disappointing due to the following issues. 1.We reserved 5 hours based on your online estimation tool and a previous move, but the job took only 3 hours. We paid the full amount in good faith, expecting a refund for the 2 unused hours ($400). Retaining payment for unworked hours is unacceptable, as you allow time to be added during a move, but not removed? 2.The storage unit was packed carelessly. If I discover damaged boxed items while unpacking, I will pursue formal legal action. 3.My attempt to resolve this with owner Andrew Cannaday was met with an unprofessional and unhelpful response. Due to these practices, I will no longer use or recommend your services and plan to report your billing practices to the Virginia Attorney General's Office. I would appreciate a prompt response.

    This client is falsifying information. They booked five hours and we showed up and did the job. They happily gave us the payment code and did not mention anything about unused hours. The husband praised our efficiency and work ethic. It took less than five hours and UHaul has a nonrefundable policy that has nothing to do with us. This is complete slander of our business and Customer Service and the client is taking out their frustrations on our company for their failure to book ample amount of time. We did not tell them to book 5 hours. And we cannot refund people directly because we are not UHaul or Moving help. This is complete slander.
