Hey, Betty! The answer to your question varies depending on the sizes of the books. If you're packing mostly small, paperback books, you can probably fit somewhere between 15-20 books. If you're packing larger, hardback books, probably somewhere between 10-15. Book Boxes are great for packing books since their size keeps you from overloading the box and making it too heavy to carry. Small boxes also work great for books! I hope that is helpful.

Hi, Janet! Since the Book Box is a perfect cube, it doesn't matter which flaps are folded in first. Fold in 2 flaps that are opposite each other first and then follow by folding in the two remaining flaps and taping those down. I hope that is helpful!

Hi, Molly! Books should not be crammed as tightly as possible because it could cause pages and covers to get damaged. It is better to pack books closely together but not so close that they smash into one another. A little bit of space between books will prevent damage. Also, it helps to pack alike books together, i.e. put heavy, tougher books at the bottom of the box and then put fragile, paperback books on top of those. I hope that is helpful!
Hello, Molly! As long as the contents of the box do not surpass its 65-pound capacity you can fill the open gaps with smaller books. Thank you!
Hey, Devayani! Although our the thickness of our boxes varies, the book box is about 1/8" thick. This means that the outer dimensions of the book box are about 12-1/8" x 12-1/8" x 12-1/8". I hope that is helpful!
Hi, Carol! The answer to your question really depends on the sizes of the books you want to pack in this box. My best estimate would be 15-30 books. I managed to fit about 20 standard size novels into one box (each book being about 200-300 pages).
Of course, if you buy more book boxes than you end up needing, you can always return them to a U-Haul center (as long as they're unused and you have your receipt).
Hi, KT! Although the gross weight limit for both our Book Box and our Small Moving Box is the same, the dimensions of the Book Box are actually smaller than the Small Moving Box. So, it really depends how big you want the box to be when choosing between the two. I hope that's helpful!
