Hello! This trailer adapter will fit a Tacoma equipped with a 7-way tow harness. If your vehicle is not equipped with a 7-way tow harness, please use 4-Flat Quick Connect CQT118496. Thank you!
Hi, Michael! Yes, we can install what is necessary for you to trail a 12 ft. U-Haul trailer. Please contact your local U-Haul Hitch Center for more information. Thank you!
Hey, Alan! This product is currently only available for purchase, not for rent. Thanks for asking!
The 47335 will operate the trailer lights only. U-Haul 6' X 12' trailers are equipped with an automatic surge brake system.
The 4-flat trailer wire harness is the most commonly used trailer plug and is industry standard for trailers that are not equipped with electric trailer brakes or other accessories (battery, light switches, reverse lights etc).
U-Haul offers the 47335 as a modest solution for vehicles already equipped with the 7-way connector only and needing to tow a trailer equipped with the 4-flat plug.

Our hitch pro writes: "When connecting an LED equipped trailer to an X5 factory installed 7-way trailer harness, you may experience a lamp out sensors, pulsing or flashing trailer lights and incorrect indicator flash speed. The U-Haul 39008 LED Light Trailer Module provides the necessary resistance for the BMW X5 to produce the intended functions when towing a trailer with LED lights."
Yes, it does. The Nite-Glow™ Adapter allows the 7-way round spade connector found on many light trucks and SUVs to easily connect to the 4-way flat plug found on all U-Haul Trailers and towing equipment as well as most single axle trailers on the road today.
