I had originally booked another company (Helping Hands), but they didn’t respond to call and didn’t show up. I got switched to Easy Works same day, and they were able to come over within an hour. They were communicative, efficient, professional and personable. They really came through for me at the last minute AND they exceeded expectations. Cannot recommend them any more highly.

JCMovers was great to work with! I was able to schedule them with only one day notice and they communicated great on what time they would be there. These two men packed all my stuff into my UHaul truck in about an hour. They were courteous and friendly. The job was fast, efficient, and so helpful to me, I would absolutely use this service again to save my time and to prevent bodily injury to myself. Great help and worth every penny.

Bentley & Jeremy were excellent Movers! They were on time for our move. They both were sooooo patient and professional. None of our possessions were broken, because everything was expertly packed on the Truck. Definitely 5 Star Service!

One of the guys (the owner) was in good spirits and was ready, the other guy started out strong but puttered out after the first hour and a half. This ended up overworking the other guy and I had to help him finish just packing up the things that I expected them to transport. The first guy stood around for hours waiting for the owner to finish loading. He broke down two sleigh beds without communicating where the screws and other hardware was placed. I tried calling to get that information with no luck. The owner stated I feel bad, I’m going to discount you, but I will come back tomorrow with a new guy to finish the unload. This never happened, nor did I ever receive proper communication that he would not be able to complete the job after it had been paid. I had to pay another moving service to unload the truck.

My move included emptying out a POD and due to some unforeseen circumstances with that, I had to reschedule these movers multiple times. They were so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. They rolled with every change and didn’t make me feel bad about it, were knowledgeable, early to the job, extremely polite, friendly, kind in person, and knocked the move out very quickly. They were even very sweet and patient with our two year old, who ran around everywhere throughout the process. I will need movers again in the near future and it’s a comfort to already know and trust who to go with for it.

They did a great job getting everything loaded into my trailer.

The person who showed up was very professional and did a great job. But I paid for two people and only got one without it ever being addressed by the business owner. The one person got it done, but I had to decide to either help or go over time. We also missed the ability to rent a cart at my storage place due to the delay, which then took longer. It was a last minute request but I still wish I had been told up front that it wasn’t going to be two people so I could make other arrangements. I’m starting the week in a lot of pain bc I’m disabled and hired help because lifting anything at all aggravates me knee and back pain. I feel like I’m due a partial refund. I’d tip the helper because he did an incredible job with the time we had. But I don’t feel confident that it would go directly to the person who actually did the work.

This was a last minute move so I understand flexibility was needed in coordinating the move. They called and kept moving time back. Once they arrived, they quickly loaded and unloaded everything. Overall, good group of guys, just wished my desired load time at 10 am wasn’t pushed, back twice until 4 pm. They were very good at communicating the needed time changes.

Nice guys. Just took 3 hours to load my 3 bedroom and didn’t get to finish. Asked for additional hours and was told yes; however, the crew had another appointment per their boss. Offered to receive another crew, but I was on a time constraint and had to put out 500 for another mover last minute. Lots of scrapes to stairway wall as well.

Amazing help!!! The 2 young men came in and moved out my storage and put back everything they weren’t supposed to take. They packed the storage back better than the way it was packed before. The unload was breeze as well. I booked for 3 hours and they were done way ahead of schedule.

Tyler and Kendrick were wonderful! They were both so good at keeping in touch and were flexible with us when we lost our storage unit keys right before moving! They both worked so quickly and packed super effectively. We had double the movers moving our stuff in to the storage unit and it took them a lot longer and they were not efficient with the packing in. 10 out of 10 would use Kendrick and Tyler’s services in the future if we move back to the triangle.

The most disappointing part of my experience wasn't the miscommunication regarding the final cost of my move, but rather how management chose to handle my concerns. When I reached out for clarification about the unused time I had already paid for, I expected professionalism, understanding, and a willingness to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, that was not what I received. Instead of addressing my concerns with respect and professionalism, the manager spoke to me in an overly familiar, dismissive, and unprofessional manner, as though he were having a disagreement with a friend rather than speaking to a paying customer. Customer service isn't just about providing a service when everything goes smoothly. It's about how you treat customers when there's a misunderstanding or an issue that needs to be resolved. As a customer, I shouldn't have to explain why I'm frustrated to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

The owner contacted me right away and again after the movers left to make sure I was satisfied. I was more than satisfied! The movers were on time, friendly, hard working and were Tetris masters, filling about every square in of the moving container while protecting and securing everything. Best movers I’ve ever had, hands down!

The original helper crew had a personal conflict amongst themselves and did not arrive at scheduled 10am start time. Was told another crew was set to depart within the hour (9ish) and when I requested an update, communication went silent. I was notified around 12ish that crew was enroute and arrival time would be approximately 2 hours, causing us to scramble to have everything ready for them to load when they arrived. Was contacted again later than their arrival time with the 2 person crew was now enroute and would contact me. The crew arrived finally after 4pm with a 4 hour time window to load and unload 26' rental truck. As we were pressed for time needing to be out completely from our apartment by 5pm and to return rental truck by this same time, very unacceptable being as our start time was to be 10am. I understand conflicts arise, this reservation was made 4-5 days ahead and specified 5pm end time, I feel communication was lacking. Pleased with the crew that did arrive.#YGWYPF

The two gentlemen that came to help us move were fantastic. They were very energetic and personable. They worked very efficiently and planned out how to pack everything well, and packed our truck perfectly so things would not shift on our 2.5 hour drive. We were worried we didn't get ra big enough truck, but they assured us it would fit everything. At no point did we see or hear any furniture get banged or dropped, and there were scratches or damage at all. Upon arriving at our destination everything was still in place and nothing had shifted thanka to their really wonderful packing job. If moving in or around Ottawa I would absolutely use this service again and these two guys, they were incredible. Thanks for the help and making our moving day less stressful.

The two young men worked steadily, did their job. They were great!

The truck got stock and one of the guys worked hard trying to get it out, but it didn't work. I had to call uhaul roadside assistant. I had to pay $450, to get the truck out of the sand. It was kind of funny, I was laughing even though, it was expensive. Thank you helpers.

They were great. They were running a bit late but communicated it immediately. I hired two movera for 4 hours and they unloaded a 26’ truck and 6’x12’ trailer in 2 hours. I then asked for help building a bunk bed and they said they couldn’t help with a bunk bed but did offer to help build a regular bed instead. They put together the bed and a dining table in another hour and were let go an hour early. Overall, they were friendly and very efficient with unloading my belongings.

The two gentlemen that were sent out to do the unloading of a 26 foot U Haul truck were careful with all of the items in the truck. They placed the items that we had a specific place for, and checked with us about where to put the other items. They worked quickly and efficiently and were very courteous. I would gladly hire them again, should I need helpers for a move. I was so impressed with their overall demeanor and their obvious work ethic that I tipped both of them before they left.

Jason was awesome. Very professional. Was able to move up our delivery date and pickup location when our box arrived early at another nearby location. Jason even helped us unload so that we did not have to have the box and trailer in the driveway overnight. Exceptional service. Would highly recommend.

The crew came late, 3 hours behind the scheduled time. We had to wait 3 hours at U-Haul storage facility and the crew contacting person keep telling us he is about on the way to us. The even worst thing is the office lady agreed to refund me one hour labor ($100) as compensation of delays, but never happened. The worst experiences and worst services, so disappointed and I would never use Moving Help again.

The two movers that I had for 2 full hrs. today, to load for one hr and unload one hour were terrific!! They both worked efficiently and in an timely manner. They arrived on time. The guys were so helpful. Initially they called to ask if they could come another day because they were running behind. Unfortunately, we couldn't be flexible...but THEY were! They were so kind, so helpful and it was WELL worth every penny to use the moving help through Uhaul. We made sure to tip our guys during the 110 degrees and they didn't stop. They worked so hard and new how to jenga our items to make everything fit! Thank you! I'll use you again for sure!

The guys were on time. Completed a walk around to get an idea of what was needed to be loaded and came up with a load plan and started working right away. These guys were awesome! Communicated along the way the whole time. They were really careful with everything including loading and packing a very old desk that has been in my family for a very long time. I was mainly needing help with the heavy stuff but they stayed until everything was loaded in the U-Haul truck. Thanks guys my wife and I didn’t know of anyone else to help but these guys took care of it! Highly recommended using them! We gave them a cash tip as they were leaving.

Elite Moving was great for our U-Box rental and loading about 45 minutes outside of Dallas. Jamal contacted me a week before the move to discuss scheduling and answer any questions. The day of the move, I got a phone call when they picked up the U-Boxes, and then when they were 15 minutes away. Chris and Michael showed up and got all of our stuff loaded into our boxes. They were friendly, professional, and efficient. Everything was packed extremely well - Tetris-like! - and I'm confident our stuff will make it across the cross-country move in great condition. Would definitely use Elite again and highly recommend them for Dallas-area moves!

They did a nice job. They worked hard and got a lot of things done quickly. I would use them again. My only complaint is that they lost a furniture dolly by letting kids play with it and I had to ask the complex manager to send out an email to find it. However, he did offer without me asking to pay to replace it. Fortunately, we found it and nobody had to pay.

Guys were late around 50 minutes. Not sure what they did to the elevator, but some of my stuff were stuck in the elevator, I had to call the leasing office and get someone to fix the elevator. For the loading, they did not leave enough space for the stuff that were stuck in the elevator. At the end, I was told that I can throw the remaining stuff into the truck (not very professional), or I can slide the two matresses against the wall (not true). I tried to be objective in my ratings. Overall, I was disappointed by their service.

They worked hard and were very conscientious about asking where each box should go. They took care of my possessions and my home.

I booked Smooth Movers to unload a Relocube. I'd been very busy following an interstate move, so I didn't complete the booking until the evening prior. Eric reached out first thing on Tuesday morning to confirm the details associated with the job and confirmed they would be available. Eric and Nigel showed up on time and immediately began unloading. They were very careful with everything and managed to get everything to my third floor unit within 90 minutes. I'm sure it was at least 90-95 degrees outside. My items were shipped over 700 miles from the Midwest, and one of my barstools was damaged in transit. No one was negligent; however, Eric took the time to repair it and I can't even tell that it was previously damaged. He also put my bed frame back together. I had a wonderful experience with Smooth Movers and I would use them again.

Anson and his team were nothing short of amazing. They were on time, for right to work, moved the stuff quickly and even put my bed together. They were FIRST CLASS. They treated my mother (who was with me) with me with the utmost respect. They hung out, talked while moving and had very poaitive vibes. When screws were left at my former residence Anson drove the four of us back downtown to pick then up and then back. These guys are the real deal. They were extremely professional, very nice, hard working, and made the entire moving experience so hassle and stress free that my Mom had to give them hugs on the way out lol. I enjoyed their company a d I enjoyed how fast and efficient they worked. They are well worth the price. Trust me when I say that I am a hard man to please but id rate this team 8 stars if I could. Well done gentleman and it was a pleasure meeting with you. Thank you for making moving as smooth and as peaceful as possible.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give them a 0 I would. First, my bed was already dissembled so it would be easy for them to put in the truck. Because they did not load it first being that it was one of the bigger items, it wasnt able to fit in the truck. So they had to spend time taking it apart which lengthened the move meaning I had to pay for an additional 2 hours. THEN One of the movers dropped my lamp and one of the glass shades broke. Another one said he would pay to get it fixed and then refused to replace it because I wouldn't date him. I reached out to the owner multiple times explaining the situation through text and tried calling him on the phone, no response. So now I have a broken lamp in my new home that clearly will not be fixed because they are unprofessional and does not take accountability.

Crew arrived early, and were kind, hardworking, and did an outstanding job in what was a kind of chaotic situation. Made use of every cubc foot of the Uhaul. Had the option of doing packing or cleaning as well. I didn't use those services but its nice to have all those options with one contractor.

They took extra care with the furniture I have had since childhood and made sure everything was wrapped and carefully loaded. I had several of my items damaged they broke my 85 inch tv as well my 65 inch tv plus other items poster and dresser I wouldn't reccmond hiring this company

Although my experience wasn't as horrific, I'm reviewing on behalf of my niece after I and another person recommended this mover in good faith. Items were left behind, including a lamp, shelves, sealed boxes, baskets, and a mattress pad, without explanation. The movers agreed to cover the mattress, then claimed they couldn't find the cover, which was later found under the couch. The original couch covering was removed, and the other couch wasn't covered. She paid $180 for two extra hours that went unused. U-Haul said refunds had to be negotiated with the owner, who refused to refund her or discuss returning to complete the missed items. She also tipped $40 in advance, believing the $180 would be refunded. He received an extra $220 despite the incomplete job and refusal to resolve it. In my opinion, this was unethical and showed poor communication and accountability. Speed doesn't excuse careless work or refusing a fair resolution. Confirm all items are loaded and clarify refund terms.
