Took nearly 30 minutes to get checked in and ready to roll. That 30 minutes was included in my total time, which is not ok. Time should begin once you have fully checked in and gotten the key, etc. Or mention that so customers show up 30 minutes early to complete the check in process.

Brenda KOverall, the drop-off and pick-up were very easy. However, the truck and experience itself were a major disappointment. The check engine light was on, the cab smelled heavily of cigarettes and there was ash from cigarettes everywhere. More importantly, there was a 5-to-6-foot-long gash in the box roof, and it ended up leaking a large amount of snow and water onto my belongings. I would have turned the truck in had I known but this was only apparent after the door was closed in the cargo area. The most concerning was that when we filled the truck with gas at the end of the day, either the fuel filler or fuel tank leaked a large amount of fuel onto the ground. We were unable to even fill it up due to more gas being spilled then in the tank.

Janice RI was charged for a furniture dolly even though I did not receive one. I've emailed twice about this and heard nothing. The key to the truck was jammed into the box so hard I had to pry it out with my own keys. Less about the location and more about the ineptitude of Uhaul in general: I had to stand in the cold while you morons called my friend to verify my identity and a whole bunch of other nonsense that could have been done hours or even days in advance. Also, I made my "reservation" (notice my sarcastic quotation marks) at a different location, and then I was immediately called and told my location had changed and there was nothing I could do about it. Why was I even able to make a reservation if there was never a truck there in the first place? That was pathetic. Walmart knows how many toothbrushes are in each one of its stores, and you morons specialize in trucks and don't have millions of products like Walmart, and you still in 2023 have no idea where your trucks are? Or you simply don't care?

Alexis CTyler was v. nice, helpful and made the process smooth. The lot where one picks up the vehicle is not clean. Debris, nails, broken glass and mud... diminish the experience. Remind customers to 'check their side mirrors" before driving. (passenger side mirror was turned inwards to show only the side of the truck, not the road, which is critical to safely driving a truck with -no rearview mirror -no backup camera. so that could have been improved beforehand when vehicle was checked in) Box was significantly scratched on both sides, which wasn't reflected/visible in the photos provided online.

Samantha MMade reservation to a specific location and once i was there i got a text saying that my truck was at a different location. After finally arriving at the Evan's location we were given the wrong information to retrieve the key. Had to speak to costumer service to be able to get the key to the truck. Half hour wasted and more mileage payed that I was trying to avoid.! Worst service I've ever had.
Sofia CI moved 0,2 mi (literally around the corner) and was changed for a 20mi trip. I received no paperwork at all so I took pics of the dashboard. I live 0,4 mi from the u-haul location and didn't take the truck anywhere other than my moving locations.

Royden MI was told on the phone days earlier that the truck would be equipped with moving blankets and a dolly. But the truck wasn't equipped with them. I I couldn't rent them from the vendor. I received the truck with less than an eighth of a tank of gas.
Peter Mreturn vehicle back to them putting in almost 3 gal of gas to bring gage back up to same level we went out with.. when they billed me they charge another $8,55 for 2 gal of gas...explained to them and would have nothing of it. didn't want to argue . next time ill make a photo of gage when I pick up and drop off.... persoonally they would take care of the customer for same.. oh well. prob rent somewhere else next time....

Chris MThe uhaul wasn't clean, vehicle didn't run as well as other uhaul vans i rented, was charged a cleaning fee and it took multiple calls to try and resolve, even though uhaul said someone would reach out in 24 hrs (didn't happen).
Dadrien BThe truck was very dirty at time of checkout. The inside of the box was full of dirt and sand, including in the attic. The front cab was so full of bugs that I took a picture of it before taking the truck. Some of the pictures sent to me at the time of checkout where not of this truck. I tried to show the dealer that one side picture showed the truck with different side writing and different damage which was not on the truck which was picked up. He would not look at the picture or the truck , which was out back. He simply stated that "It will be O.K.", in a very unfriendly voice tone. He would not address anything about the truck, other than stating that the truck was delivered to him on Friday and was not his responsibility. I ended up washing out the back of the truck and spending over an hour with water and a brush cleaning the front of the vehicle to clean of some of the bugs and dirt.

Sharon PDid have an issue with the truck , when I told the Manager, he mentioned that this was fixed by UHaul only a few days ago . It clearly was not and it get us into some very dangerous situations . Over 55 miles an our the truck would "wobble" and that was very unpleasant and even dangerous. This does not reflect bad on the manager/business but on UHaul

dONNA GBarely check the truck to make sure nothing was left in there that is not supposed to be in there I was very disappointed when I decided to clean under the seats and found something that should have never been in the car but besides that they are excellent company I would definitely go back I appreciate the customer service and I appreciate how they met my needs and how respectful they was and reasonable

Diane SShow humanity to your customers - I called to say that I was on my way, 5-8 minutes out, and I arrived at 5:31 PM. They closed at 5:30 PM however, the fact that I called to tell them I was on my way, in my opinion as the customer should have alerted someone to the fact that they could have waited a few minutes to be sure. As it was I had to take a half day off of work to arrive at their location to return the key. The van was dirty when we arrived to pick it up - there was a broken glass in the back it has not been swept out. When the gentleman called me to say that they were charging me for gas, he said he had to clean it out and they weren't going to charge me. To which I replied it was dirty and full of glass when we picked it up. I Was hurrying to arrive at their location on time. I will not rent from them again. I just think overall this location could focus more on customer service.
Alison Mno key drop, which is stupid. I didn't have the time to drive back and drop off the key so I locked it in the truck assuming they had other keys to which they should! However they said they didn't so they were mad and hung up on me, twice! I wouldn't go here again.

Joseph JMonaco Tire & Auto were outstanding, as usual. 'They have great communication, are friendly, and provide great service. However, the UHAUL phone scheduling, online platform, and email confirmation were somewhat frustrating, I kept getting confirmations at a different location. Also, the central website had inaccurate information.
