The service is excellent. No need for changes.
Richard RTruck broke down had to be towed and load transferred to different truck, lost our unloading crew at final destination due to late arrival cost of new crew was doubled. Whole experience was horrible. 26 foot truck had 98,0000 miles and nation wide recall on front wheel bearings going out. Truck should have never been rented out and was very dangerous.

Keith MWould be good to know where to drop off the truck when office is closed. I was clueless but ended up dropping off right in front, so guessed it was okay. I would prefer not to guess and be told where to park when dropping off the keys. Thanks for the talk on the phone. Glad was able to drop it off there without a surcharge.

loren SWe reserved a specific size truck over a week in advance. The DAY BEFORE we were due to pick up the truck we got a phone call saying that we needed to pick it up THAT DAY. Not only that, but we were told that the truck size that we had reserved was not available and that we had to get a truck that was 6ft longer (a 26' truck is massive for an unskilled driver). Additionally, the U-haul "store" did not have ANY MOVING SUPPLIES at all. We had ordered some furniture pads to protect things in the truck and had planned to buy a couple of mattress protectors and other odds and ends - they had NOTHING. Mariposa is super rural, so getting to a place to buy those things is over an hour away. Finally, the woman at the counter told me that my car insurance wouldn't cover me in an accident and advised that I get the U-haul insurance. I panicked and agreed to it - then I called my car insurance company and they confirmed that I would have been covered in the U-haul. This was quite possibly the worst U-haul experience I've ever had.

Richard RI may never use U-haul ever again based on this drop off experience. I was given the completely wrong drop off location. It had me show up to a random house in the California hills after driving/moving all the way across the country from Buffalo, NY. Fran who was supposed to be the owner didn't answer the phone, only returned my call 20 minutes later after I was sitting on the side of the road not knowing where I was at all. I then realized I had gotten a flat tire from road debris on the side of the road. That new tire cost me $300. Then she told me I was still 20 minutes away from her location, gave me the address and when I showed up the gates were closed and no one was there. She then told me just leave it on the side of the road at her closed gate and that she would just check it in later. I moved to Yosemite, California from Buffalo, New York. So to drop this trailer off was already a little over a 1 hour drive from Yosemite to the uhual drop off. So I had to drive even more after the initial 1 hour drive and it ended up being a 3 hour round trip just to drop of that uhaul trailer. Completely ridiculous and I was charged an extra $56 after my drop off. Genuinely terrible service.

Brian MThe actual office sits in the middle of a horrifying junk yard, and attached to a hoarders house. The owner of the business was not prepared for my rental. It took 45 minutes to get the keys to the truck. So I wss 45 minutes late getting to my destination which ruined the whole day. Then, thank goodness I double checked the license plate and realized they gave me the wrong truck. They keep the trucks at 1/4 of a tank of gas so I has to fill up shortly after getting on the road. I have never in my life experienced such unprofessional and filthy behavior at a uhaul or any business. I am honestly beyond angry with this experience.

Tiffany QI reserved two months in advance yet the truck wasn't even at the location until the day after so we had to go elsewhere. She couldn't even find out until a day or two in advance. Caused a lot of stress as we had very specific timing. Seems like reserving was a waste of time.
