The drop-off location was ok, but I was upset with the extra charge for dropping it off after hours. It makes no sense, and it was not communicated to me clearly that this would happen. I called previously about the inconvenience of my reservation that was changed the night before, leading me to not discover this until I went to go pick up the truck and was told it was an hour away. I was on a strict schedule for the move, and this put me over two hours, along with the wasted gas to go get the truck. No one apologized for this, and I was offered NO COMPENSATION OR DISCOUNT for my trouble. I'm assuming this is just how business is done now in 2026. I contacted customer service, and they told me someone would be calling me back about this inconvenience, but I'm assuming if you ignore someone long enough, the problem goes away. Big surprise: no one has called or reached out about this problem. The fact I was multiple hours behind forced me to have to rent a motel room which cost me over 100 dollars. You already got 1500 from me; who cares at this point, right? Thanks, U-Haul.
