Lisa HI did have some significant difficulties after the reservation that U-Haul itself confirmed turned out to not have been confirmed. One of the purposes of renting from U-Haul in the first place was jeopardized by the delay of my trip that was to haul the gear I had been hired to transport. I came within 20 minutes of missing my connection because the cargo van I had reserved at one location was no longer available and it was necessary that I travel across Hudson to another U-Haul location and rent a truck instead. There, a new set of difficulties developed, adding time pressure and stress. Fortunately, in the end, it all worked out. It cost more money in gas and in time than had initially been planned by my client, but the trip was concluded successfully. I think there was a glitch in the reservation system, though, and the renter who had the van I was confirmed to get neither returned the vehicle on time or even responded to his phone. This nearly caused me a great hassle. However, as I said, all was right in the end. Now, how about more current truck models with USB ports so renters can recharge cell phones? Other than that thank you,
Mark MInability to effectively communicate. Multiple errors by both corporate & Deron with no apology or compensation. Customer Service is greatly lacking.
