Our payments were due on the 13th of each month. We vacated the unit on the 18th. We were told that we had to pay for the full month, even though we vacated the unit five days after the due date. We were hoping that our last payment would have been pro-rated.

Larry T | Overall ExperienceI know that there were mice deterrent boxes in my units that were placed there by U-Haul. I was grateful for that. But on move out there was a dead mouse in my unit and I guess that’s much better than live but it grosses me out

Andrea G | First ImpressionsDebbie (The Uhaul Momma), first told me if didn't want to be charged after me free month was up, to make sure I was out the day BEFORE my bill. Saved me $150. Also, even though they normally just require a pic when you move out (which I didn't know), she was willing to come back and personally inspect my unit, since I was heading back there anyway to take out my last load. Further, when I left my unit locked when I turned in my keys (which I also didn't know), Debbie was willing to go back and get my lock herself instead of requiring me to do it before I checked out. It's small kindnesses like these that save you time, particularly when you're already exhausted from moving a few hundred pounds, that make all the difference. Will use them again.
