They charged me for an extra day even though I used it for only 8 hrs. Of course Management has to look at it. This is the second time I'll have walked away saying "never Uhaul again"!!!
John GoochExplain to customer that when you rent a trailer hitch it is a flat rate whether you have it for 2 days or the 5 days they give you. I was told that if I turned it in earlier then I would get a refund for the remainder of the days left on my contract

Jose Villanueva1. The pick up process was difficult. There were not enough people available to help at the scheduled pickup time. 2. The back of the truck was not clean. it was dirty and had a clear oil spill that had to be cleaned up (by me). So, I had to sweep the truck, as well as clean up the oil spill. 3. The fuel in the truck was less than stated by about an 1/8th of a tank when I picked it up. That is not by a lot, but it was not accurate. 4. The drop off process was difficult. The person on staff did not know how to complete the process. They sent me to another location that said it would cost me hundreds of dollars to drop it off there. Went back to the original store and waited and waited and waited while the store attendant tried to figure out what they were supposed to do. He was friendly, polite, and professional, but had just not been trained on that process. Finally I just left. I was told I'd receive a call from someone at the store later. I never received a call. I tried calling several times, hours apart and could never get anyone to answer. It seems like to me that personnel at that store do not want to be in the U-haul business. They are too low staffed and busy to give their undivided attention to the U-haul process. POSITIVE NOTE: When I was billed, they were dead on accurate and fair. Although, I felt like I should have received a discount for all of the trouble of having to clean the truck BEFORE I could use it and the PITA process of returning the truck.
