No receipt was provided at dropoff and I had to contact uhaul representative a few days letter to get confirmation that all was completed with the transaction.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisMy location and truck size were changed at the last moment. I had to drive 45 minutes from original pickup location to pickup truck. This location was not manned by a person and I had a difficult time trying to complete the registration. More irritating, they changed the size of my truck from 15' to 20'. Not only was this extremely difficult to drive BUT now I could not park it on the city streets and had to find garages with no height allowance for overnight parking. This experience was very disappointing, frustrating and expensive.

DARIN SThey changed our pick up location to over an hour away and smaller truck making us pay for more mileage and gas. The equipment I rented. Dolly and furniture pads were not in the back. The door in back was frozen shut. Had to make several phone calls add a driver since app wasn’t working. The experience made the whole move a lot more stressful’. The drop location business had a wonderful owner
AMY BYou can have your customer routed to the location they chose. Instead, I get a call the day before that routes me to this location which is 25 miles out of my way. So it was a 50 mile round trip. I might be able to accept this if it weren't for the fact that my hotel was right next to the location I selected (a major U-Haul retail outlet, by the way) and there were at least 5 of the trucks I wanted just sitting in their parking lot. How I got shafted with this other location is beyond me, but U-Haul needs to be better about this and not send customers on an hour round trip just to pick up their truck when there are many in town.
