U-Haul was great. Carpenter Storage and its rogue employee Sean C. was the most utterly lazy, incompetent, lying, dishonest, disrespectful employee I’ve ever came across. He didn’t know how to rent a truck, kept asking for personal information on the website sales page; for things like boxes, hitches ect. Gave me the wrong size truck (bigger one) and claimed U-haul wouldn’t care and not charge me, claimed I was angry about a $3.00 charge. Well, it was supposed to be $37 and somehow this clown came up with nearly an $80 charge. I drove three miles round trip, he provided the wrong mileage (40,000 miles off), wrong fuel amount (not a full tank but a 1/4 tank), fumbled with his job and made only excuses attempting to blame U-Haul corporate for a “glitch” in their software as to why I was being charged so much. Then he left a very disrespectful, dishonest comment about me on my receipt. This guy is so oblivious he literally typed out his unprofessional rant on my copy of the receipt. You can’t make this stuff up. The storage facility is filthy, expensive, and only open until 5pm. If you value your sanity and hard earned money go to anywhere other than carpenters storage.
