The location waa fine, but whomever the dealers were wasn't. To start off nobody went to inspect the truck so when my husband and I goes to inspect it ourselves, there was a homeless man sleep laying down with his feet at the driver door head at the passenger door. Tell the dealers that acted concerned, still nobody goes to inspect nothing. There was only a 4th of gas in there don't really know how much was supposed to be in there anyway. Still nobody checked. So my 3rd trip in the store the female cashier finally goes to the truck to take pictures which I had already done so with my own phone. Finally we bring the truck back different ppl from before. But they acted the same nobody wanted to inspect once again I insisted on someone to come so we wouldn't be blamed for nothing. Somehow we returned the truck before 2pm on my email it said it was returned at 5pm. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.Jeffrey S.

The truck had dirt in the cab and mud splatters. However, the price and customer service from both the rep I spoke with on the phone and the gentleman running the store where I picked it up were both excellent. Overall a very pleasant experience. also may want to check the battery. We had to boost off the truck once during our time.Angela I.

I did not receive the half dozen furniture pads that I had ordered with the truck. When doing the self pick up there was no question or prompt asking me if I received the equipment I ordered so I had no idea I didn't have the pads until I was far from the rental location.Dant'e P.

Hello, instead of picking up 6' by 12' trailer from Skyland Blvd location here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama we had to go to Bessemer,Al. to pickup 6' by 12' UHaul trailer. There was only one man working in the ZN Mart-(50557), 1200 14th St S, Bessemer,Al 35020, (205) 417-4877 and he could not come outside to help us hookup trailer, so we used crowbar to raise trailer enough to get my Ford F-150 tire jack underneath trailer neck so we could raise it up enough to drop down on my trailer hitch purchased from UHaul. Then we tightened trailer to hitch, attached chains, hooked up electrical and checked that all lights were working properly and by the way we were able to do all these hookups from the videos y'all emailed me and those saved the day. Thank you much for that! Drove home to Tuscaloosa with no problems and left for Memphis next morning around 10am, 6.3 miles into my trip I look to the right and see two 6' by 12' UHAUL trailers sitting there at the CMart, 2800 McFarland Blvd, Northport, Al. Now I'm going to assume, until told different, that those two trailers were sitting there at 4:15pm when my daughter and I were picking up the 6' by 12' UHaul trailer in Bessemer,Al. If they indeed we're sitting there Sunday afternoon, July 29 then I should be reimbursed for my gas as well as my time to go to Bessemer and receive a full credit on my VISA because y'all aren't going to learn anything from my less than stellar experience until it hits UHAUL in the pocketbook! Now on a more positive note, upon returning 6' by 12' UHaul trailer to UHaul Moving and Storage at Union Ave (771053), 370 Union Ave, Memphis,Tn 38103 Mr.London Strong helped guide me into the proper parking place and unhooked trailer and lowered it to the ground, asked if I wanted receipt and I followed him into the store and received my receipt and was impressed by my final experience with UHaul and thank you for your return response.David S.

My best suggestion is to not go to class and leave someone in the store who does know how or want to help a customer. Also, I was charged for utility dollies that I never received and was told by "Andy" that I wouldn't be charged for them. I was also charged for not returning them. This whole experience was a disaster. 1.) I was told I could pick up in Moundville Alabama, but was changed to ZN Mart last minute. 2.) I noticed ZN Mart had terrible reviews and called to ask to move my pick up location. I was denied. 3.). I was told to pick up the truck at 3pm at ZN Mart. I arrived at 3pm and asked to get the truck I rented. I was told that the guy who did the "UHaul computer" was in class and wouldn't be back til 5pm. I called UHaul and was helped out by a very nice lady (I can't remember her name) and a manger (Andy) who did all they could to get the clerk at the store just to give me the keys. 3.) I was never given a drop off location and had to find one my self on a Sunday.Charles C.
It takes entirely too long to check out/ in! I understand it is a business and don't mind waiting while they check a few customers out. But I am also a customer and deserve quick service. And they are absolutely clueless about what to do. I check in online, then have to provide all the information again. What's the point in checking in online then? It simply should not take an hour to get a truck/trailer, as has been the case each time! We won't be using this location again.Tina Molette R.
When I picked up my truck it was out of gas, nosed in to a fence with a car trailer hooked up to it. I could not get the attendant to properly Chang the gas level, also I had to work to shuffle your equipment around or he was going to cancel my reservation because he could not drive a truck, and on top of that now you guys won't to charge me extra 100 plus dollars to work for you we need to call it even and leave it at thatWalter L.

I'm requesting $60 back that I was charged for mile overage The original location that I made my truck reservation did not have my reserved 10 foot truck. They tried to â€œupgradeâ€ me to a 15 foot That I did not want. So I had to Uber $15 to another Bessemer uhaul truck location for a 10' truck Where they didn't have my pads I was charged for! ZN Mart is a fucking joke. This one location nearly cost U-Haul a customer for life. Anyone from U-Haul reading this, I would strongly recommend you discontinuing your dealer relationship with ZM Mart, as all they do is damage your brand name. Auto hauler was damaged, and the clerk still wanted me to us the damaged equipment.Casey W.
I called the previous day to make a U-Haul reservation the next morning I called to confirm and the guy said he didn't see my reservation and told me to call U-Haul. I tried to explain that I just made the reservation the day before he started to yell over the phone then he hung up in my face. I called back and he did it 3 more times. Luckily the U-Haul service wasn't that far from home. I drove to the gas station and wanted to know why the manager kept being so rude and mean to me over the phone. He kept talking over me telling me to call U-Haul walking back and fourth yelling to me saying â€œYOU PEOPLE â€œ. I didnt understand what he meant by that. I started to get fustrated and tell back at him. He kept saying he was the manager and I told him I didn't wanna speak with him anymore. Then another guy came in and sent him home and told me he just had a bad day. I knew then that I gave my service to the most unprofessional unorganized U-Haul service ever. The previous guy was so rude to me I had to call the Bessemer police department because I was in fear for my life. After all the commotion calmed down the other manager said someone would be getting the U-Haul at 2:30 I purchased it at 12 maybe. When I got home my movers weren't there so I called the manager at the gas station and explained everything to him he said I would only be charged for mileage. When I arrived he charged me 52.98 and didn't email a receipt to me I had to wait 45min for a receipt because he claimed he didn't know how to print one. Over all this was the worst customer service experience I have ever delt with in my life. They didn't give me options. They were rude and mean and was the opposite of genuine to me. I hope no one ever rents a U-Haul from them. There giving U-Haul a bad name.cryshaunna P.
I had a confirmed reservation for a different location, so when I arrived there, they told me to drive 18 miles out of my way to pick up another trailer which then we had to do everything over again, not even close to where I needed to be. On top of that, I had a half of a dozen people waiting on me to get there when they went out of their way to help me even though they had plans. I am completely unsatisfied with the service and experience. Never again!!Evan K.
Well I think it's neat that store fronts can rent U-Haul equipment but he was very busy with store stuff and trying to get my contract filled outterrance B.
It took me 3.5 hours to pick up a auto transport that I already had a reservation for. This location was located in a very "rough" side of town in a rundown gas station. There was only one person working and he had to TRY and help me in between his customers. On top of this, he could not work the computer system and had to make multiple calls to the U-Haul number and still could not work it out. My mother had to go to another U-Haul facility on the other side of town and have them enter the information for the person trying to help me. Even then, he could not print the paperwork and get me on my way. He was even told by the person on the U-Haul help desk that the trailer could be released to me but he would not release it without the paperwork (that he could not print). On top of this the U-Haul rep (a woman named Tiffany)that he called on their help desk lied to me. I asked her where she was located and she told me that she was that the location that my mother was at, not knowing that my mother was there. I told her that a gentleman by the name of Sedric was helping my mother and she went so far as to say that Sedric actually worked for her. Sedric had never heard of her. She lied!!! After this experience with U-Haul I will never deal with your company again. And it would be in your best interest to pull the contract with the Bessemer, AL location for poor performance and keep from losing future customers.Michel P.
