Need some more knowledgeable people to work the rental desk. People who know how to evaluate equipment readiness and make appropriate selections for customers choices. The tow dolly we rented malfunction many times, it damaged our vehicle, and burned a lot of gas because it was not running properly. We made a report when we turned in the vehicle / tow dolly, and the lady who received the equipment said that she had had many problems with those units but that they had not been addressed by U-Haul.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI made my reservation at a Columbus, IN location because I live in Columbus, IN. So, I was pretty disappointed to find out -- one day before pick up -- that I would need to drive all the way to Bloomington to get the truck. That wasted a couple hours of my time, along with a couple hours of my daughter's time, since I needed somebody to drive our vehicle back to Columbus. After that, I was even more disappointed to find that the miles between Bloomington and Columbus were tacked on to the original contract price, which meant I had to pay an extra $40 to $50. The truck itself was fine, but I'm really not looking to work with U-Haul again anytime soon.
Kevin DThe attendant that I checked in with did not know any process about Online rental or process. She had no details to share. in the location - there were no parking lines painted in the parking lot. My car got towed - no one checked in with me about my car, no signs were posted about where to park and where not to. Upon my return of the vehicle - the attendants were not the same as who I had checked in with before. They were unhelpful and had 2 large dogs running around the office. Very unprofessional and unhelpful on top of having my car towed from their lot after renting from them.

Skyla KFor starters, don’t change my location without telling me. And if you do, don’t change it to a location that is closed. We started our move an hour late because U-Haul screwed everything up.
