The staff at the location were in unprepared when I arrived, they had to go pick up the van and bring it over, I had to wait at least 10 minutes. And when it arrived, the dolly and pads weren't in the vehicle so they had to go back and get those. I ordered 10 pads but they were only able to get 2. Checking the vehicle back in went very smoothly.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThe location of the pickup location looks like a condemned gas station with no trespassing signs and temporary fencing. I actually went to another U-Haul location before being sent back. I went back to the condemned looking gas station and walked around. I could see some U-Haul inside the building but no one was around. I walked in the garage door that was left open but no one was around. It looks like a dump with junk laying around. I honestly considered that I could be shot for trespassing. Eventually I called the number for the location and someone came over. It was easy after that but the signage was horrible. Would not recommend this location.
Jeremy AI waited almost an hour to pick up the vehicle at midtown market. It hadn't been checked in from the night before and had to be brought over from a garage next door somewhere. I had to go through the whole process i went through the night before online with the lady that worked there. She tried to charge me $160 until I questioned it..then went through the whole process again. I had to remind them i needed a hand truck even though it was on my order. They said it had a quarter take of gas and when I started it and was driving away in a hurry it only had and eighth of a tank when I was already in a hurry because I was so late. I took pictures with the gas and mileage to show if needed. The truck sounded and felt like there was maybe something wrong mechanically with it. I ended up putting $30 in gas in because I didnt want to get billed for not putting gas in which well exceeded where it was when they gave it to me. Overall...the people at the store were nice and apologized for the delay but I will never use the uhaul service again there and I dont feel like I should have even been charged after all the hassle. It was returned by 12:30pm.
Lindsey JEveryone there was super friendly and nice but and really did the best they could but one of the key people was on vacation and it took a long time. But again, they tried really hard to make the experience good, it was just really chaotic and bumpy. Then when I got the vehicle, I noticed that the gas seemed to be dropping quickly. I thought it odd but assumed it was just the vehicle size. Then when we were loading it and unloading it, we noticed the smell of gas. On my way back, I filled it to half, which is more than I picked it up and when I dropped it off, after only driving four miles, it was done below where I picked it up, which is ridiculous because that was a significant drop. Then when we were standing there, that's when we noticed gas under the vehicle. They tried to figure out how to not charge me the $10 but couldn't figure it out. I told them not to worry about it because by then it was just getting late and I was done. I know that I didn't damage the vehicle at all and it seemed to smell like gas from the start, in fact, as soon as I pulled away I got a warning that came on that said Tighten gas cap so I stopped and did that. It eventually went off. The fact that gas may have been leaking the entire time is a little scary. Overall, it was not a great experience. I know the staff tried their best but it was rough.
Andrea DThe quote was off by $40 (cost more than quote), all transactions were by phone in which I had to do most of it on my phone. I did not find out the cost difference until after left when I got further instructions to perform. It was not a pleasant experience like I normally get from U-Haul at other locations. This was out of a market. The personnel were very inexperienced working with the APP. Took a long time to get through the process (30 minutes)
