Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisWe reserved a 10' truck in Rawlins, via the web, two months in advance. The day before arriving in Rawlins, we were told the closest truck was in Casper - 115 miles away. We were on bicycles, so riding to Casper would be a MAJOR pain in the neck. Uhaul dealer in Rawlins rented us a local pickup truck for a bit less than $200, so we could drive to Casper to get our 10' truck. Rawlin dealer did not give us any special treatment - pretty much just our tough luck, not their problem. Uhaul dealer in Casper was a nice guy and got us a nice clean truck. Nothing he could do about the Uhaul reservation system. Heads up: "reservation" does not mean anything to Uhaul Corporate. Next time, skip the web reservation, go directly to the local dealer and maybe you will get your vehicle ... maybe not.
James CThe drop off location was in a fenced lot that was only accessible by backing the trailer into it from the street. Not handy at all.

Bryan JI did the phone drop off so I didn’t meet anyone. They also changed our drop off spot in an email. They said it was agreed upon which I had in an email the original, much easier drop off place. I then got charged extra for the extra mileage which wasn’t right. I had also rented a trailer that I did get to keep the original drop off place, so changing the truck to a completely different place was more of a hassle. Definitely not right without first clearing with me.
