Turn signals on the trailer were reversed. The renter claimed it was legal as I had a pick up truck. The Illinois State Police officer that pulled me over less than a mile away after picking up the trailer said otherwise. I used hand signs when I used the trailer for a turn signal. It was getting dark and I called for assistance. I spent over an hour on the phone to be told to wait for the trailer to be rewired. I have rented from Uhaul many times. I have never had issues until this. The night ended when I dropped off the trailer by your agent letting his dog out so the dog could scratch my truck. Perhaps this is why the renter didn’t wear a shirt. I’d like a call about this experience.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI thought he was very rude with us.
Laura WI think it would depend on where you had to come from, this location is out in the middle of farmland and is easily missed when trying to get to it. For me it was very far and was not the place I chose to pickup from.
