Fortunately, some homeless people helped me figure out how to get the Uhaul into the lot since there was not an entrance -- the perimeter is surrounded my fence and curb. 2 stars instead of 1 because having the gas station there to fill up was nice.

david fI rented a truck from a place near my apartment in Chicago (on Cermak). When I arrived there, I was told I had to go to a place 30 minutes away and was handed a piece of scrap paper with an address on it. This put me at least an hour behind when I had movers scheduled and had reserved my building's freight elevator. The address was an empty lot in a bad neighborhood. A truck was parked there with no key, and the person in the gas station next door had no information. After 45 minutes on the phone with Uhaul, the person admitted that the app (which I had to download) had not been updated by Uhaul. After finally securing the key, I opened the truck to find that none of the rented equipment was inside. But because I was in a parking lot on the West Side of Chicago, there was nothing I could do about it. And I was still late - so movers that I was paying by the hour were sitting at my apartment 30 minutes away waiting for me. TERRIBLE and deceitful customer service.
Nancy MLook like someone slept in the back of the truck. There was pillows and a blanket. Also they charged me twice. $50,41 & $72.09
