the representative was very hard to understand and communicate with - english was not their first language, and they spoke very fast and did not appear to even try to speak more clearly to help me understand. I reserved moving blankets and there were none when I arrived. When I brought the truck back, the representative could not explain to me what to do to check out, I wanted to be able to upload photos of the truck after to ensure I would not get charged for something I did not do - and again, I couldn't even understand him. Then as I was standing by the truck waiting for him to check everythign out - he turned on the windshield washer fluid and it sprayed on me!!! I would never ever recommend this location.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThere was a last-minute change in location from U-Haul to this pick-up location. The staff there did not think that any of the vehicles were available for longer trips (thought that all were in-town only) and had to call U-Haul to confirm that there was even a vehicle available. The staff did not have any of the supplies that were ordered with the truck (had only a few pads, no dolleys) and instead of offering to find replacements they just said they would remove them from the contract. It is great not to be charged for supplies that were not provided, but I had ordered them for a reason - I certainly still needed them for the move that day. In the truck itself, there were several pads that were not clean/organized including some that were not U-Haul pads. The truck had a check engine light on from the start when it was first started, though this did not impact the trip.
John SThis location sucks. First, I requested a dolly but this location (a gas station) doesn't have dollies. Yet, the website said it did. Because of this, I had to drive 20 miles round trip out of my way to get a dolly from my warehouse. Additionally, I was charged a $20.00 after hours service fee even though I didn't need any after hours service. He said it was because I didn't do a self return, which I don't think is an option at this location. I picked up and returned witih him during business hours. Please explain to me how that is "after hours." UHaul owes me money for the after hours service fee and the miles that I drove. Please refund me $40.00.
Scott HTruck wasn't cleaned out. Use of truck contract was never presented. The app was not accepting photos. Would not recommend.
RODGERS GSam at the BP was helpful. Again, human interaction and someone who cares. In Chicago NOBODY cares!!
