Charged for gas despite returning it with the same gas i pickup. When I dropped off the equipment, the employee told me "not to worry about it" and said he would handle submitting everything. Because there was no option to take and upload my own return photos like there was at pickup, I had to trust him and now I've been hit with an unfair gas charge. Unprofessional and dishonest practice

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThis location was great but Uhaul changed the pickup location that was right by my house to one that was way further away and it screwed up my plans for all the help I had to pack up the truck, and they didn't have the furniture pads I ordered. I really appreciate the guy who served me but Uhaul changing locations and not having my stuff I ordered was a real hassle that I did not need.
Bradley CI was told that during my 1 way rental the total cost included the fuel, there would not be a per mileage charge. This was quoted during our phone call to reserve equipment, and again when I showed up to pick up the truck/trailer. When I dropped off the equipment 80 miles later, the folks said a receipt would be emailed to me. I was shocked when the statement included another charge for $35 for fuel surcharge. I was given the truck with less than 1/2 a tank of gas. Upon calling this location, the manager said UHAUL routinely does this. Worst part is that the drop off location shared a parking lot with Racetrac gas station, I could have filled up the used gas, just like any other rental car I have ever rented. This is deceptive business practices.
