Passenger side was covered in glitter. Location pick up employees were very nice and easy to work with

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI would like to speak with someone about a refund. This location should not be allowed to rent uhauls. First the individual could not fire out how to process the transaction. When he finally got the pre-work done he admitted he “never had hooked up a trailer before”. He set it up and said I was good to go. When I got to my home, I found that 1) The driver side tail light was inoperable. 2) Both tires were dangerously under inflated 3) The safety chain was not affixed to the trailer OR my hitch AND the S hook was broken off the chain. 4) He didn’t tighten the hitch screw, leaving it dangerously loose. This person put me on the road with a trailer not legal to operate. As importantly if I had left and one of the tires had blown a the hitch had still been loose, there was no chain to keep the trailer attached. Your negligence could have killed someone. I don’t feel that I should have to pay for this rental given the EXTREME negligence at “Smokin Deals”.
SCOTT KBeing in the far corner of the strip mall plaza, it was difficult to figure out where to rent the truck. It's a vape shop and is well lit up with a sign and display lights for its own products. They did have a U-Haul corporate sign but it was small and obscurred by an awning pillar. It is next to the outdoor keyboxes, which makes sense, but not until you are at the correct angle driving through, or close enough to see it. A second sign on the free and clear end of their storefront would be visible from a block away to those looking for it for the first time. I'm just trying to be helpful. Their store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly.
RONALD SI was charged 18.00 for gas that I pre paid for., I get a truck that barely has gas in in it and had to pay an additional 18 bucks so that I dont run out on the side of the road. Told the guy when I got back and all he said was contact customer service.
