The guy from the front desk was trying to charge my employee twice, for a reservation that I already paid online with my credit card. He kept insisting about collecting payment and saying “it doesn’t work like that” “ you have to pay here” even though I told him several times about me paying the reservation online. At the end I told him, yeah go for it and charge me again, and I’ll disputed with my bank account if I got charge twice. And all of the sudden, he told my employee it was ok to go.
LUIS MCustomer service was good. I felt unsafe waiting for an Uber due to the location appearance. Seems like UHaul is working more with these side-hustle unsafe feeling rental locations.
ISMAEL NTruck was fine, however, no dolly was available making me drive to another location. This was the location I was originally supposed to get the truck from.but was moved 1 day before reservation. When I got to the location to get the dolly—-Henry Hines blvd, they were super nice but it wasted 45 minutes because a whole new order had to be created just for a $12 dolly. Also at the pickup location, 1 mart, the area was a bit sketchy and I had a homeless person yelling at my wife from across the street.
