The process of picking up and dropping off the uhaul was extremely time consuming having to take so many pictures of the truck. Ive never had a uhal worker come outside and inspect the truck during pick up or drop off so having to do that as a customer in the app seems like excessive work. Also I requested a utility dolly and when the worker at this location changed my reservation from 26' to 20' they didn't have a dolly available but declined to notified me that they didn't have one. They removed it from my reservation so I had to call around to other locations to find one which was very inconvenient when I arrived to my storage unit and found no dolly in the truck so I wasted more time calling customer service to help me find one. Customer service was very helpful though during that process.
Monica PThis was a 26' truck. When I pulled out onto the main road, I immediately noticed the alignment was off, and not just a little. I was off by probably 10-15 degrees. The steering wheel was pointed at about 10:00. That was pretty frustrating for my 10.5 hour drive. Secondly, It looked like no one cleaned the lower cupholder. Lastly, I believe there's a bad wheel speed sensor. When I hit 70 mph, the ABS light and traction control light went off and I had no cruise control. These are the same symptoms I had on a car that had a bad Wheel Speed Sensor. When I mentioned this to the uhaul guy at drop off, he said it might have been on purpose to keep people from falling asleep; however, when I rented a 26' truck in January, the cruise control worked. Overall, not the greatest experience with the truck.
