So at pick up they made me sign the paper confirming how much gas the vehicle had without actually letting me take a look at it. So I signed it confirmed it. Then when I get in the vehicle the gas is different which I marked on the app. When I returned the vehicle I mentioned this to the attendant that took the keys from me. She went out on her own to inspect the vehicle. She came back and said that she charged me a cleaning fee for $25. When I asked her what for she sturted a bit and said there were some pepperonis in the back. So I had her follow me out there there was like three slices of pepperoni, a pen, a leaf, and some metal piece a nut of sorts that I'm pretty sure was from prior people. Hopped on the truck picked up the small pieces show them to her in my hand and she said she had already refunded me the fee. My thing is why did she charge me the fee without consulting me. Why did she not let me look at the gas before signing the paper. All this seems very sketchy. Seems like they are intentionally trying to squeeze every last penny out of a customer. To improve make sure you guys don't have people sign things without actually explaining what they are signing and giving the opportunity to look at the vehicle before they sign it. Also before charging fees make sure you confirm with the customer on the fee.

Esmeralda GI didn’t like the fact that I needed to take photos and send them and the web site didn’t load. I think the rental place should take the photos as they know what they’re looking at and can see what if any damage is already on the equiptment.
