Great friendly and helpful people work there.


The mileage out was incorrect. It was 7 miles over the stated amount and the gas tank reading was under what I was told. I do not have a smart phone and your agent didn't ask me if I did so consequently I had no way to go to a link, which i wasn't told about either. This assumption cost me $16.00 more than it should have. I mentioned the misinformation to the check in gentleman and he just ignored my comment. It was very near closing time but that is not a reason for poor customer service.

I reserved a truck online. I got a confirmation number. I got several emails and texts confirming the reservation. When I got to the U-Haul store the had no record of my order. Not even the confirmation number.

This was the first time since I rented my first Uhaul back in 1988 that the truck was not pulled up outside of the rental office. The way the trucks are parked along with the very small parking lot, made it difficult to pull the truck out. The truck scraped the one that was parked very close. It was definitely my fault. But it could have been avoided if the truck was pulled up to building like I have experienced in the past. I am not happy with the experience I had at this location. The manager claimed that most people preferred to squeeze the truck out from between the others. She also said we could have come and asked to have it pulled out. A service that was standard in the past. This plus the hassle of reserving the truck only to get a call twice saying that the truck is not available at a close location. The truck was well maintained. The kid who was checking trucks in felt he had to argue about the paint damage. He walked off. Eventually the manager came out. But the kid was very unprofessional. Good points to end with. Check in at the counter went smoothly. The owner was very nice.

This review rating is actually for the Snohomish location that gave my rental away to someone else. Subsequently, I had to drive to Everett to pickup my rental instead.

The line was very long when we arrived for pick-up at 9am and there was only one person working the counter who was doing her best. We waited for about 20 minutes before we were helped. It would be nice to have an additional person at the counter during the apparently very busy time in the morning.

You are seriously understaffed. I have worked managerial for years. This location is in need of staffing consultation. Being understaffed not only affects customer service but open yourself up to errors in inventory, maintenance, etc.

Truck was not in clean condition. Mud was on the floor mats inside of moving truck. Way to expensive for one way trips. Will NOT be renting again!

Too many hidden costs. Tank was half empty when I got it, but I was charged for not having a full tank when it was returned. Charge per mileage was not highlighted when reserving ahead of time, despite it making up the majority of the cost. I expected a $20 bill walking into the store, and got charged $145 all said and done which is *not* okay. Also, despite there being only two customers in front of me, the line took 30 minutes. Further, your website didn't work on my phone (my phone is security built, and doesn't give location, and your website wouldn't let me manually enter.) Further, the cell app wouldn't find my reservation to return with. All said and done, the experience was quite lousy.

First I reserved a truck a few miles away from my house. Then a few hours later on my way to work I got an email switching the place to a few towns north and they only reserved me for one day not a week like I had done. So I called uhaul and the lady said that they could give me a credit for miles to make up the difference and not to worry about the one day reservation just let them know when i get there that u want it for a week. Three weeks later when i go to pick up the truck the guy tells me we dont comp people for the miles even though they switch my location and that i can only have the truck for a few days not a week. So i remain calm but really pissed off then they find me a truck to get the next day in Everett. So now I just went north to get this now I have to go south to pick up this truck. So I pick it up the next day and the lady ask me if I want the 80 something dollars Insurance for the stuff I'm hauling and I said no I'm just going to the dump doing clean up around my house I don't need it. So a few days later I checked my receipt and I see that they charged me for that and more then 10 dollars more a day then what the corporate number had quoted me. I talked to a person but didn't complain because the lady wasn't there and I was gonna go back but I knew for whatever reason I was wasting my vacation on complaining about money I was never gonna get back. So one I think u guys screwed me over a few hundred and waisted my vacation time which is more valuable than money. But besides that everything was ok .and another thing why do u have so many uhaul places without trucks. That's like having gas stations without gas and u pass all these gas stations to get to the one that has your gas. U guys should move the truck closer to the person renting it instead of changing his location and making the person drive more

Some of the negative experience isn't the fault of the Everett branch, but unfortunately the way these are counted I'm sure they will get the brunt of it. Here was my experience: 1) I booked the trailer online, to pick up from my city's largest dealer (5 miles from my house). 2) I called two days before my scheduled pickup, to confirm it would be open on Jan 1 when I schedule to pick it up, AND that my trailer was ready to go. 3) The day before my scheduled pickup, I was contacted informing me that my rental was indeed not ready, and the nearest location that it would be available from was 60 miles away. Obviously very frustrating! 4) The day of my pickup, I drove to the Everett location. There were 4 groups in line, and the process crawled along. There were 2 Uhaul employees that I could see, very understaffed for the amount of scheduled business for the day. 5) after about 45 minutes in line, it was my turn. The employee confirmed my details and finalized everything quickly (nicely done!). He then said to head outside and drive around, and someone would hook me up. 6) After waiting and looking around for the person outside, I finally gave up and pulled my truck around to the front (there was a massive bottleneck blocking my access to the trailer). I hooked up the trailer, and with the help of a customer checked the lights and connection. In the 15 minutes or so I was outside, I never saw an employee working the lot.

Its really wierd how there are big signs that say $19.95 a day for rentals. I put 5 miles on the truck and it cost me $160.00. Thats a bit off of advertised price. What is false advertising? Hmmmm. Not cool. People were nice but pricing seems to be a scam. Not sure how they can do that.
