They over charged me over a month later for my rental. I drove local 14 miles & they charged me for 140 miles!Kimberly J.
Again the experience wasn't horrible. Just preoccupied customer service. I didn't really know what to do with the truck when I dropped it off. Ended up getting charged for a cleaning fee. It wasn't that bad When I got it so I didn't say much about it, but I did not make the truck any worse than it was when we got it. Actually I turned it in better than I got it cause, again, I was given a truck that wasn't ready. Next time I'm writing everything down to the T. And kind of weary about ever renting U-haul again. When I called to make sure I was squared away When I dropped the truck off (because where I dropped it if wasn't helpful) the phone call was pleasant and the lady on the phone was very helpful and kind.Sherry S.

The person in charge wasn't there when I arrived because he was at the store. They didn't have a way to print the contracts so I didn't have one. Therefore I didn't have a refuel line indicator. I took a picture of the gage with my phone and refueled ABOVE the line and was still charged about $27 for fuel.Jesse L.

Receiving lot was full. Owner was obviously not happy about the drop-off but still courteous. System needs work to make sure receiving lot has room. So with the obvious aggravation I did not feel comfortable to complain about the door jamming.Darin R.

First problem was ,the location I was to pick up my u-haul truck at 9:00 AM , when we got there no one could help use. We were told that the person would not be in tell 12:00 . We drove 2 hr. to move my grandson back home from school.Robert G.
I felt very uncomfortable leaving the trailer there. Very dirty. Unattended. No clean place to park or leave trailers. Junk was lying all over the place. It is not really a working business. I would recommend Coussons on highway 20 as a much more respectable option and would have been much more convenient for us.Russ L.
Location was not open upon return during advertised business hours. Contacted owner. Dropped off trailer as instructed. Never received any confirmation as promised. Called U-Haul 1-800 number for help. Not much help given.Stephen R.
First off, this location is VERY hard to find. I advise putting the actual address into Google Maps, NOT "Perfect Shine Car Care" or else it will take you up the street to "Southern Shine." It took us 20min to find the place - a shut-down gas station on the corner, the only sign is literally propped up on the ground outside the building. When we finally get there, everyone who worked there was really nice, but they had no clue what we were there for and the only guy who did wasn't even there. We waited outside, in the rain (this is an outdoor place), for him for probably best of 45min...and he was apologetic. Now, to his credit, he did let us use the trailer for the whole weekend instead of just the day, which was very very nice and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I wish I could give a separate rating for him, but I can't, unfortunately I have to rate the whole experience, and it was not a good one to have on the day of a very stressful move. It took two hours at least out of our day. For car care, yeah I would go see those guys, they were very friendly...uHaul on a high-stress day...nah.Alyssa M.

#1- when he answers the phone he simply states "hello" no business name or U-haul so I was not sure I had the right person or location. #2- We discussed in detail that I only needed the U-haul to go less than 8 miles and I did not want the insurance that he offered --I have State Farm with full coverage that covers rentals----I receive my statement this morning and he charged me the $14.00 Safemove (insurance) anyway #3- Called him @ 256-200-8845 to reminded him of our conversation on 01/12/2019 that I did not want the insurance and please remove it---he said he could not do it and to call 1800Uhaul----that defiantly is NOT the number I needed to call---he should have been courteous enough to at least give me the 800# #4- I called 800-789-3638 and spoke with Ronesha she put in the request to have the $14.00 charge credited back to the CC on file and ask that I give her supervisor 48 hours to approve it---ref # 2096640---Hopefully I do not have to contact CS again for this issue. The only problem was that upon calling for this order request to your agents, your U haul system was extremely slow for them to submit or gather the information required by them to place it. The concerns we encountered with the vehicle was that it seriously needed a front wheel alignment.nate B.
