Scheduled, to pick up an auto hauler on a Tuesday at noon, only to arrive at 1:00 and find the location closed. Apparently, they are only open 7a-11a. Returned the next morning, picked up the hauler, and when I asked to change the drop-off location, I was told I could drop it at any location. Upon arrival in Malvern, PA the next morning to drop-off, I learned there was a fee for dropping off at a location other than the one identified in my contract. Bruce, at the Malvern location went out of his way to help me make the necessary changes to avoid the fee, for which I am grateful. I will not, however, do business with this Ft. Wayne location again.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThe collection location was changed by Haul the day before - it would have been nice to have been told the Washboard location didn't have personnel and it was a lock box situation - spent ages on the phone registering and doing the online renter process wasting much time the morning of the collection.

Danny AThe employee was not on location during posted hours and was 30 minutes late for my pick up time. Employee did not show me the truck or car transport and would not allow me to take the transport off for loading, he said it was not possible. Employee did not show me the car transport or how to safely load a car on it. Told me to look it up on YouTube. Employee did not show me the inside cabin or verify truck mileage or fuel gauge level. Employee did not open the deck gate or show me the inside because it was frozen shut. He told me to pour hot water on it when I get home. Employee threatened to cancel my reservation 3 times because I asked questions about the truck and car transport that he did not know the answers for. Employee did not care for my concern about snowy icy conditions, or the fact that I had an appointment I needed to be at but his tardiness caused me to miss it. Employee did not want to be there or be of any assistance. I will never use The Washboard again for Uhaul and I am launching a formal complaint with Uhaul, as well as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
