Jessica JThe dashboard lighting was poor, and the lens over the “cockpit” had a film on it that wouldn’t wipe off…so it was hard to see in daylight with some glare and extremely difficult to see at night. The windshield wipers were crappy, so driving in the evening and night in the rain was very stressful. Otherwise the vehicle was in great condition. Needs to be modernized for plug ins etc. the daily charge was reasonable but the per mile fee they charge should be illegal!!!! U-Haul know sthey have us in a corner. If the cost per mile was more reasonable I would use their services much more often!
Timothy WThe kid at the register who checked me out had no idea what he was doing. He never asked if I wanted the extra protection & never mentioned once that I’d have to fill up the tank when I returned. I drove less than 60 miles & was charged $45 for gas. My bill ended up being $200 for less than 4 hours of use! I was expecting $100 max.
