The owner (I think) Charles was very nice. The U-Haul app should be better for dropping off the trailer. I had to make several phone calls to confirm. If you try to make a return on the app on the following day, it gives an error. That could be an easy software fix.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisWhen I came to pick it up no one was there even though it was between the scheduled hours. The gentleman who normally runs the shack in the field did call and inform me when go over a few things, which was nice, but when I got in the uhaul I found it not only dirty/sticky/not emptied, but with 12 miles to the gallon left. It took me 8 miles to get to a gas station. It was scary. I called the guy back and informed him and all he could say was he was sorry and a girl should’ve had it ready for me. I wouldn’t go back there for a pick up.

William SThe entire process of an "automated kiosk" combined with woefully inadequate vehicle tracking forced us to 3 locations the morning of pickup and I lost 4 hours just to traveling to a location that actually had our truck. The individual at Sheds Of Effingham was very helpful so this is not an inditement against him.... just the mothership of UHaul. Of the 3 locations, Shed of Effingham was the only staffed location. In short, customer service cannot be abrogated to kiosk!!!
