I was charged for 3 extra days that I did not request but didn't realize it until after I was out of the store because the clerk simply handed me the paper without going over it with me. Also didn't like that I put in my card information and drivers license info online to avoid having them being touched/touching the key pad at the store just to be told that I had to give him my drivers license info and that I had to re-insert my card in order to pay.

When everything hinges upon one simple truck reservation being there as promised, U-Haul online reservations system cost me 10x more than a truck rental. After arriving on time to pick up my 26 foot truck that was reserved several days earlier, the store point had no record of my reservation. I ended having to start the process anew....like I had never made reservations, and finding a smaller truck I had to drive across town for. This cost me moving crew time and a costly extension of additional house rental costs from not being able to move all my belongings. Knowing what I know about running a global service industry business, there would be a few heads rolling due to incompetence. But some mouth breathing employees of U-Haul will probably get their bonuses on time this year, while their customers get the orange shaft. What can U-Haul do to improve for the next customer? Get rid of useless employees and antiquated systems. What will get done ??? To a business that has top side problems, there is no solution...except to saddle the lower level employees with the task of over apologizing. To any consumer in his right mind, depend and pay for any rental truck from any other provider, not matter the cost increase. It will end up costing you less in money, time s d aggravation.

I was called about an hour to my pick time and referred me to a longer distance with about 11 miles more than the actual mileage and distance that we were originally was supposed to pick up the truck. We ended up paying about $20 more . I don't really care about the money but the poor service. I do appreciate the help of the young man and the location in I 10 E Houston.

I went in and told the guy that rented me the truck that it was reading for a low tire and he said it was a sensor. I told him I was uncomfortable and he said it was OK to use. As I was using the transmission began to slip and then check engine light and the transmission light then came on. When I returned I told the 2 guys working and they said that the person that rented me the truck was the manager. This made me even madder that a manager would rent this truck to anyone. You are lucky I got the truck and myself back in one piece. At this point, I not even sure it I would use you again and as you see I do rent some trucks

I paid approximately 85$ online and the vehicle had a smell of smoke inside and only 23 miles remaining until E. When I dropped it off I went 10miles over my estimated miles and they said the gas was not correct even though it was 53 miles until E. I got charged 126 in total for 6 hours. Horrible experience and rude staff.

The customer service at this location is HORRIBLE! The 3 employees I encountered were extra dry and unenthusiastic about doing their job. If I'm not mistaken one of them is actually the manager. Go figure.

Did the mobile check in. worst experience ever. Information was incorrect. Had to go inside to speak to representative 2 or 3 times and they did not want to help because we did mobile check in. Said the issue was because we changed from a few hour use to 24 hour use which was not correct our reservation was always for 24 hour use. drop off was not bad. but we left a handicap plackard in the truck and obviously the truck was not cleaned before it was sent back out because we called around noon and the truck was sent back out at 10am without the location finding the handicap plackard. It should have been found if it was cleaned. Good thing none of us had Covid19 because it would be spread to a lot more people since the truck was not cleaned. makes us wonder if it was cleaned when we got it. check no on cleaned as we do not know.

The pickup U-Hauls computer was down and they said that the trailer was not at pickup store that we were originally told. It was on the other side of Houston and we had to go get it. We had made or thought we had made reservations to pick it up at one place and of course it was not there.

Upon returning the vehicle in Big Spring, Texas, it appears I have been charged for an extra day. The vehicle was returned within the contract specs, even though we were told we'd have an extra day to return it.

On your Website there should be a different way to ask if you need supplies or even help. I accidentally clicked on continue and I was ordering something I didn't want. Some how I was charged for a storage that I didn't order. I called customer service and I had a hard time telling your employee that I didn't not request a storage nor did I give anybody permission. She kept asking me if I still wanted the lock because there were items in the unit. I have no idea where that storage is located and the stuff that was there was not mines. Waiting for my money to be returned. Also, please take my card information of of your system Please. I changed my reservation pickup from 8/22/2020 to 8/17/2020 at 10:30 am and the young man who waited on me had great customer service. I did not know I had to make a reservation first before entering your location. I have always walked in.
