Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI was very disappointed with my U-Haul experience on Saturday, August 22. I reserved the truck on July 24 for a 6:00 a.m. pickup and called on August 14 to confirm the steps needed. I was told someone would contact me two days before pickup. On August 21, I learned that my reservation had been placed at a different location than requested and was told to follow a link that would be sent to me. I even went to the location for assistance at 2:00 but was again told to follow the link by the guy there. At 5:45 a.m. Saturday, the link did not work. I called the 24-hour line and spoke with a very helpful representative I forgot her name who spent about 45 minutes troubleshooting the issue. She eventually discovered that my name had been entered incorrectly on the reservation. As a result, I received the truck about 45 minutes later than my scheduled pickup time. I truly appreciate the representative who helped me Saturday morning, but the issues leading up to the rental were frustrating and could have been prevented with better communication and verification of my reservation information. I had just used Uhaul a year ago with a pleasant experience. Not sure what happened a year later however very disappointed in the service.

Michael LGuy did not get up even after I asked if we could do a walk around to verify everything was good. He charged me $11 for gas after I had just put $15 in gas in the vehicle. I ended up calling customer service when I left the store so there was proof the vehicle was returned. After she called him, I got the email with the $11 charge.
