At the pickup location, we were unknowingly given a car that had a defective fuel tank. It added many hours to our trip because it added 30-40 minutes to each gas stop. Something is wrong with the fuel tank, and no gas pump will stay engaged in it. Every 1-2 seconds the gasoline would bubble up, triggering the gas pump to turn off. We had to sit there and pump it by hand for 30+ minutes at every stop until the tank was full. Because of this, we had to stop the night halfway through our trip and had to turn the car in later than we had agreed to. When we brought the car in, the person who helped us just said they would “see what they could do” and proceeded to do absolutely nothing for us and we had to pay the late fees.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisLet customer know exactly what equipment he's getting. I was told I was getting a toy hauler with 2" flat bar on both sides. I went and spent $130 on tie down strap for that flat bar and turns out I got a trailer with D rings on it. Had to go through the hassle on returning what I bought and grab a hook ratchet straps. It was a lot of time spent on my part.
