I would recommend only due to convenient location. Otherwise, I feel sorry for the staff. When I picked up the van, there was only Manuel (spelling?) at the computer helping check people in and out. There was also a manager there, who came out of his office only because I had a question about why I was being charged $79 instead of $19.95 (which wasn't explained to me when I made the reservation). Then, when I returned the van, Manuel was the only person there at 10am, which was a busy time. There were 3 customers trying to check in and someone commented that it's too bad there isn't more staff to help him. Apparently someone was supposed to be there also starting at 7am but they didn't show up. Manuel was very courteous and efficient in spite of the staffing challenges. One of the other people waiting said that when they picked up the day before, the staff was dropping the "f" bomb in regular conversation. Like I said, the location of the store is very convenient and the van I had was clean/ready to go. Unfortunately, there's only 1 person you can count on to assist you.

The trailer provided had two bald tires which ended up with a blowout. Had to wait 3 hours for a service person to show up to fix. Should never have happened in the first place.

Well the equipment was clean when I bought it back and I was charged $25.00 cleaning fee and that was not right and I would like to have it put back in to my account thanks

Wanda was awesome. She was being run ragged while helping three people simultaneously. She was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and just plain nice. Whatever you're paying her, it's not enough. Give that woman a raise!

Nothing to improve upon, but I feel it is necessary to comment on how AMAZING Wanda was at the Nicollet Ave location in South Minneapolis. She was helping 3 people at a time while still answering phones in order to get everyone going on their moving / travel while maintaining a big smile and making customers laugh. I wish I had employees working for me that worked as hard and well as her!!

One word: Wanda. She single-handedly managed three customers at a time as well as answered phones with skill and grace. She not only prevented a long line of hot and stressed customers from descending into chaos with her ninja like customer service skills, she entertained as well. I really can’t say enough to reflect how well she performed and how appreciative I was of her as a customer

Brakes on the trailer did not operate, called in for service and the service tech that arrived stated it was only because of the hitch height as I had a 2" drop receiver so we turned it over which made the trailer mostly level and "should' take care of the issue according to the service tech who then departed. Once I got back on the highway it was noticeable that the brakes were not in fact working as the surge actuator would slam forward on it's slide unless I was braking with the truck very gently. I now have brake pulsation on my truck due to this as my truck was doing all the braking for both track and loaded car trailer. Additionally, there were two (2) LED marker lights that were inoperative and two of the tires on the trailer were more that five (5) lbs low on air pressure.

I was scheduled to do a mobile pick up at 6:00am. I arrived at the location and received an error message that said I needed to wait until the store opened at 9:00am. When I arrived at 9:00am, I found out the store opened early and there was a massive line. I had to wait in line for an 1.5 hours and didn't get my truck until 10:30am. I then had less than 2 hours to move out of my apartment due to a 12:00 end of my lease. I didn't have time to do certain basic cleaning because I wasn't able to move out all of my stuff in time due to Uhaul's 4.5 hour delay and I expect to be charged over $200 in cleaning expenses from my landlord. I was promised a refund by the employee who helped check me out since the error was 100% due to Uhaul's mistake. Please refund at least $200 to cover the cleaning expenses that indirectly occurred due the massive delay in checking out my truck.

The signs for entering and exiting the lot were confusing because the arrow for equipment drop off pointed away from where I was supposed to turn in. Personnel were very helpful and made drop off easy once I figured out what to do.

The 20' truck I reserved and paid for wasn't available. I waited for over an hour with movers standing on my driveway waiting for me. They ended up giving me a 15' truck instead which made us have to take two trips. Not only did I have to pay an extra $200 for my movers, they charged me for the extra gas mileage as well.

Better online check in process is needed. Great customer service when I had an issue checking online, stayed late to help check in at store instead of online because app wasn’t working right.

The system tried to charge me an extra fee that was not due. I was within the delivery time and well under the one way mileage allotment. The team could not figure it out after 30 minutes and had to charge my card and issue a refund. It is unknown if this happened as there has not been any communication to this point.
