Requested hand truck (moving dolly) upon arrival. Representative acknowledged forgot to bill me and give me equipment, called back rep informed he forgot and how store closed. Uhaul customer service was willing to find closest location to pick up dolly, but not willing to cover KM/Cost of gas or my time because the location did not bill me so they cant confirm if I requested it or not- my moving took longer than expected because of this. Uhaul rep should have done better. Trash customer service from both parties, will not use or recommend UHaul, would rather use any other company.Guruparan R.

My pick up was originally supposed to be in Alliston, Ontario. 2 days before my move, I was advised it has to be in Mississauga, over an hour further!!!! Brutal. No courtesy discount. I was only given an extra 80 kms which covered some of the extra distance I now had to drive, but otherwise nothing for this gigantic inconvenience. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone!!!!Dominik R.

The guy was a bit rude and the van had a weird smell to it as well. However I had no issue with the pick up and drop off. He did ask for the receipt for how much I gassed during drop off.Jin Woo K.
The location was not nice when I called the secretary guy was rude, also the van smelled really bad and the brakes made a squeaking sound. I will never rent from here again. I feel I have been overcharged because I only rented the van from 5pm and returned it next morning at 9. I did not have it for even 2 hours to be charged one dayNour A.
Returned truck mid afternoon on a Friday. Place was locked up. Was able to check out online however no place to leave keys. No lockbox. Waited 30mins for someone to return and take the key. Avoid at all costs.Patrick C.

I did not ask or agree to the insurance- there WaS A computer problem â€“ the franchisee called the Uhaul head office on the speaker home to remove it the CSR screamed at the operator and hung up pls remove the 15 insurance charge â€“ I am cover with my own automotive insurance which confirmed with my company. Customer service in Mississauga was lacking-I had to wait as the "greeter" ate some food, passing on the task to his assistant who was busy with another client. The Sarnia location had excellent and responsive CSRs and a clean and well-organized operation.david B.

I had so much trouble getting the van because the hours say they're open from 10 AM to 6 PM, I got there at my pickup time which was 2 PM and nobody was there. I finally get the van around 3PM. Then, I'm on the highway and there's no windshield wiper fluid in the van. I got the van with 3/4 gas in it. I bring it back 1/16 less than the 3/4 and I am charged with $15 for not filling up. I am very upset and I won't be using this service. This was a very terrible experience for me especially from this establishment.Joshua B.

Was suppose to be open at 9 - didn't get there until 1030. Our pick up time was 10. We had an elevator booked and we were left with less than an hour to get our stuff moved by the time we were able to get all the paperwork done and get back to the apartment. One of the blankets had something on it and it got on our stuff and hands. The vehicle engine light was on and we raised it to the attendees attentions but the guy said it was fine not to worry. Not very comforting. Would avoid using Uhaul again.Anita K.
