There was no indication that this was a recommended U-Haul location except for one parked truck in the parking lot. No U-Haul signage. Granted, I dropped it off after hours, but it was concerning it was legitimate. No signage where to park the vehicle, etc. If the other truck wasn’t there, I would have not left it there. It was a storage facility (see my pics).

Jon KThe person who manages and/or was working at the location is somewhat rude. I know this because i have used this same location twice in the last month and both times the person who was working at the time behaved unprofessionally as far as i am concerned. First time we rented from this location (July 16th through my wife's account) the woman gave my wife a hard time when picking up. Acted as if we were picking up the truck earlier than we were supposed to (we were not, we picked it up at the time we agreed upon with U-Haul). The second time, for this order, i was following the app instructions and was going to drop off the keys in the orange lock box and was told in a rude manner that the key needs to be put in the back of the truck. Also, i found it odd that they were still using the same lock combination from the first time we rented the truck on 7/16. Regardless, the service was convenient and i would still go back again.
Kevin MThe truck was, actually, ok. But the checkout was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul: checkout said find the keybox location "Woodlock1" near the truck. There was no keybox anywhere at that entire location. At 7am in the morning, standing in the pouring rain, the customer support telephone line had a 40 minute wait! The Artificial Idiot chatbot was worse than useless. Finally, a very nice, patient support person figured out that the key was licked in the cargo area of the truck and had to update the combination, because that had been entered wrong, as well. To finish the checkout process, your app required that I take at least one picture of the front of the truck; the the app wouldn't save the picture I'd taken. Again, all this nonsense had to be done while standing in torrential rains. It took over 45 minutes to work through all this; and your app kept threatening to cancel my reservation if I didn't complete the checkout within 60 minutes. Epic fail. Worst experience ever. The ONLY thing that save the day was your customer service person. I think next time I'll try Penske or Rider.
Tim VWe had problems with the reservation where it reserved at a different location than what was ordered. Luckily I was with Mini Mall associate Ardis who made the reservation when I was called and told there wasn't a truck available. She straightened out the issue knowing there was indeed a truck available at her Mini Mall location. Ardis went above and beyond with this reservation including meeting me on Sunday (her day off) at the time of the rental and she handled issues with the U-haul app I had downloaded. When I returned the truck and followed the instructions on the app for drop off, it wouldn't let me upload the photos of the truck sides. I returned the key as I was instructed and locked the back of the truck but worried all the way home that it didn't get checked in. When I returned home I found the receipt from U-haul that I had returned the truck. Location was close to my home so my above average rating, Mini Mall Associate Ardis gets an above Excellent rating! I would recommend this location to a friend but not the app.
