Weekend staff at the Cardinals Fuel Quickway was very cordial but did not know how to process a return. Tried twice between Saturday evening and Sunday morning during posted hours of operation. I was given the same response - no one available to handle the return. Used the UHaul app to complete the return process myself.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThe gas station clerks were not properly trained on how to check in and check out the U-Haul’s. When I came back to drop off the U-Haul, I had to wait 20 minutes for the manager to come in to even open up the app on the computer. The parking lot had glass all over it that I had to drive over to even get out of the parking lot. The U-Haul itself did not run well felt like it could break down at any moment. I did not originally book at a gas station and would never have intentionally booked there but because I was canceled on, I had to pick up at this gas station. My original appointment was at 3:30 because I had to stop and pick up someone who was stranded and I got there maybe around 4:30 I was told I was too late and at first could not pick up the U-Haul but if I was picking up from the actual U-Haul company since they are open until 7 PM this that should not have been an issue so the whole situation was a terrible experience on an already stressful day. When I realized I would not be receiving my mattress bags that I also ordered that I should be picking up at the actual U-Haul company. I sent my son to pick them up and they only gave him one so by the time we were packing the U-Haul now one of my mattresses got dirty in your dirty truck another letdown that should not have happened. In the cab of the truck, there was trash that I cleaned up that was not mine.
Riva EI used 44 miles on this vehicle that was around 25,000 miles on the odometer. A 15 foot uhaul gets 8-12 miles per gallon and I had to pay for 8 gallons of overpriced gas at their location. While trying to ask if 44 miles uses 8 gallons of gas I was answered rudely with "I don't know, buddy, probably". I didn't tow more than a couple hundred pounds. I hope they top off their tanks on their own dime next time instead of chincing an extra 20 bucks in fuel out of every sorry sap. Especially when they'll charge you even more if the tank isn't full.
Mark SI dropped off the vehicle at a location in Indianapolis. They advertised that they were open until 4:30, but the U-Haul rep left early, so I was unable to talk to anyone about my rental. The next morning, I found that I was charged hundreds of dollars in unexplained and bogus fees. I will never use U-Haul again - what they did was criminal.
