MICHAEL SThe location and people were good. However my rate wasn't the .99/mile as it was originally stated on my contract. Evidently because I rented it on Thursday afternoon returning Fridy afternoon the per mile rate went up to 1.19, this wasn't communicated. Alos the changed me $7.20 for fuel and I showed them a receipt where I put 6 gallons in and only used the truck for 60 miles. So I am to assume the truck doesn't get 10 miles to the gallon.

Thomas GI'm very disappointed, VERY! I have rented here before and did not have any issues whatsoever, but I also did everything on the app and the only thing I did through the bait n tackle shop was pick up vehicle. But just the last two recent rentals I was asked not to use the app and they over charged me in mileage. How this happened is they ask you to estimate what your mileage might be prior to leaving with vehicle, then when you return it they add the actual miles you traveled plus the estimated total prior to your leaving making the mileage which is no longer $1 per mile now $1.19 per mile. I just rented a van to move two 65" inch tvs, I only rented for 4 hr rental, they asked my husband before we left an estimated round trip mileage, he said jokingly maybe 50 miles, we actually only went 24 miles round trip, but when we turned in vehicle before the 4th he we were charged $1.19 per mile and 74 miles. I questioned young man and he said that I was incorrect that the odometer says 74 miles, when I gave them our actual route and they confirmed the route round trip was only 24 miles they still charged me for 74 miles, plus the insurance, rental of truck tax etc. lesson learned! Use the app so that everything is recorded to Uhaul !
