Owner staffed the store with two individuals who did not speak English and who were not familiar with how to process the U-Haul rental. My pickup took 20 minutes because the individual was unable to unlock the padlock at the key return. I did not receive my reserved dolly and had no way of communicating the issue with the person. He was friendly and apologetic, but left in a position that he could not manage because of a lack of understanding English. This seems like a fault of the management at this location. U-Haul did not respond to live chat attempt during this situation and my return and close out then took 10 days to process afterwards. For a company that seems to want to force me to everything through its app, I don't understand why it would take two weeks to respond to my return and complaint.Douglas P.
I believe they were new owners to the location that I picked the van up from. They were unsure of how to get into the system and had to call for assistance. There was a â€œsystem issueâ€ when returned the vehicle and I wasn't told my total that I owed. Said they would process the return later. I didn't find out what I owed until looked at my bank account hours later.Cariann C.
