i originally rented a cargo van but had to settle for a 15 foot truck because the tire on the cargo van I originally paid for had a popped tire. I scheduled it at 12 pm for 4:30 pm pick up the same day. No one in the office notified me that the tire popped in the almost 5 hours they had before I picked it up. They waited until I arrived at the store to let me know. Unprofessional. The agent who was helping me did not charge me for the cost of the 15 foot truck since that was uhaul's fault for not communicating. Once I returned the rental I was charged at the rate of a 15 foot truck and not the cargo van as originally agreed to with the agent in the store. I've called the store and left a message and of course no one got back to me because they know they are wrong. Hopefully someone contacts me asap because I am not happy about this.DEANNA A.

First time I rented from this location. Sales rep told me to drop off trailer by 9pm that same day but he did not tell me I would be charged $20 after hour fee. I have rented trailers twice from Saddle Brook and the reps there told me to drop off the trailer anytime. Once I dropped it off later around 9pm and they still did not charge me an afterhours fee. I am dumbfounded because the rep at Passaic told me to drop off my trailer by 9pm which put me under the impression I would not have been charged an afterhours fee. This is just plain crookedness. If the rep told me "Hey drop off the trailer by 9pm today but you will be charged an afterhours fee" then I would have dropped off the trailer during normal operating hours! I feel scammed. The vehicles need to be better inspected upon return before getting assigned to the next person. Also there is no indication or notice indicating that vehicles are being disinfected upon return. If they are not being disinfected they should be. Even something as simple as wiping down the cabin with lysol or clorox wipes and spraying with lysol spray in the cabin and inside the cargo. Also the vehicle originally assgined to me had a low tire and the vehicle was just in a fender bender and had the bumper tied up by tie straps holding the number on. However the attendant as very nice about providing me with a different vehicle.Sergio L.

had tremendous issues with this trailer and turned out very costly. the passenger side wheel strap was cut about 5 inches to short to reach the ratchet and end of strap was frayed from being cut making impossible to feed into ratchet. had to buy a wheel strap and ratchet to be safe and legal. then hydraulic brakes were malfunctioning and causing heavy wear on truck brakes. brought to repair shop to get brakes on truck fixed and now have a $1,000 bill as mechanic says brakes were severely overheated and overworked and all pads and rotors must be replaced now. then was pulled over by police due to missing license plate, which i was never told was even missing even though when dropping trailer off i was told u-haul already knew it was missing. police then did roadside inspection of truck and trailer and officer seen there was no brake fluid in reservoir for brakes and cap was stuck closed and unable to be open to try being filled. also most likely reason for non working brakes officer said. police then said i could not continue towing car on auto transport trailer due to much weight and non working brakes. police made car be taking off and be towed by tow truck to my house costing me another $700 for tow bill. absolutely worst experience i ever had and a simple trailer rental cost me over $1,700. please if someone can contact me to straighten out at 201-956-9487 id appreciate it.Mathew D.
